Pamela Anderson And Tommy Lee's Messy Divorce, Romance Started With Passion, Ended In Prison

From mesmerising everyone with Baywatch to ruling hearts with her cover photo on Playboy magazine, Pamela Anderson will be a heartthrob forever. However in her real-life the model turned actress' love-life has ended up in heartbreak. With five failed marriages behind her, Pamela has been quite unlucky in love. However, for the actress the most painful separation was from Tommy Lee. Once hailed as the power-couple of the Rock and Roll world, Pamela and Tommy's love story ended with a messy divorce. Here's what went wrong with their relationship. 

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee got married after only four days of knowing each other 

Whirlwind romances aren't that uncommon, many couples end up getting married after a few weeks of knowing each other. However, the relationship between Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee was a full-blown tornado. The Playboy model met the drummer of Motley Crue at a club during New Year's Eve and instantly hit it off. They talked on the phone after this, but did not meet each other again until six weeks after seeing each other for the first time. Then, while Pamela had a photo shoot in Cancun, Tommy followed her there and they stayed at the hotel together.

Three days into meeting each other face-to-face, Tommy Lee proposed to Pamela with a ring. The model-turned-actress excitedly said yes. The next day, they got married on a beach with Pamela wearing a white bikini and Tommy in broad shorts. Hence, they tied the knot on the fourth day of their relationship.  Pamela, in an interview with King, talked about her wedding day and said:

"I really always had such a fairy tale idea what a wedding would be, that I'd meet somebody, fall in love and it would just be very romantic, and it would be love at first sight. And I had all these things that I wanted it to be. And he chased me down to Cancun, and I just thought it was romantic."

Pamela Anderson filed for a divorce from Tommy Lee, but they got back together 

After their honeymoon period was over, Pamela and Tommy's relationship went through a lot of ups and downs. The couple were delighted when they found that they were expecting their first baby. However, a former employee stole their s*x tape and sold it to a publisher. Amidst a court battle with the publisher, Pamela and Tommy welcomed their baby boy, Brandon Thomas Lee, in 1996. The same year, Pamela filed for divorce from Tommy for the first time. However, the couple reconciled, and the filing was dropped. The reason why Pamela wanted to separate was cited as her husband's alcohol abuse. After getting back together, Tommy said to the Washington Post:

"All the ridiculous speculations on our marriage are false. I'm in recovery for alcohol abuse, and my wife is supporting me through a very tough time."

After reconciliation, Tommy and Pamela welcomed their second baby boy, Dylan Jagger Lee, in 1997. They also settled their court case over the s*x tape with a compromise. Everything was supposed to be better in their marriage. However, their marital life took an ugly turn when Pamela accused Tommy of spousal and child abuse. The drummer was arrested at their California home, though the latter charge was dropped. 

Pamela Anderson filed for divorce a second time in 1998, which was finalised, and sought full custody of their two children as well. Tommy was sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to stay 100 yards away from Pamela in the future. However, the model requested the court to grant Tommy counselling instead of jail time.

Even though the two divorced, Tommy and Pamela did not cut ties with each other. They kept getting back together and breaking up. Even though Pamela got married four more times after Tommy, and the drummer also got engaged, the ex-couple had a very turbulent on-and-off relationship. Pamela even stated in a lot of interviews after her divorce that she was never truly in love with anyone except for Tommy. The model also confessed that, she had never stopped loving her first husband. 

However, Pamela and Tommy finally broke up and haven't been seen together since 2018. It was after Tommy and their eldest son got into a fight in the same year. The next year, the drummer also got married to Britanny Furlan, and they are still together. Pamela, on the other hand, went on to marry and get divorced four more times. Recently, Pamela's name has been linked to her Naked Gun co-star, Liam Neeson. Talking about her relationship with Tommy in 2025, Pamela revealed in an interview with Andy Cohen:

"We used to talk a lot more. Not recently, unfortunately. I wish we did have a better rapport right now. It'll be okay, eventually. It's just kind of a moment right now."
