Shweta Tiwari's Daughter, Palak Talks About Her Mom And The Personal Battles She Faced In Her Life

Television actress, Shweta Tiwari made it to our lives with her classic debut show, Kasauti Zindagii Kay. Hardly did she know that the title of the show will become the reality of her life. On November 27, 2016, Shweta and Abhinav were blessed with a baby boy, Reyansh Kohli. Everyone was happy knowing that Shweta was finally happy and then came the news that the actress has lodged a police complaint against her husband, Abhinav and accused him of domestic violence and then again her married life fell apart. The actress has been through many ups-and-downs in her life, but it is true that she has always maintained dignity through all her personal battles. Shweta’s daughter, Palak has been a constant pillar of support for her as she has seen her mother go through all the turmoils, and Shweta agrees with it. In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Palak Tiwari talks about how proud she is of her mother, Shweta Tiwari for all the personal battles she has dealt with. In her words, "I am constantly proud of her. I think even while growing up, I used to be so proud when my mother came for a parent-teacher meeting. I was like 'that's my mom'. Your parent doesn't need to be an actor or super famous for you to feel that way. Also, like you said the personal battles that we have faced, and I have seen her go through everything. The kind of things I have seen her deal with, so many of which I am still discovering, and the more I learn about it, the more I am like how is she sane? How is she the way she is?"

The beautiful daughter added, "Because people handle things differently and when you are at a low point in your life, people are more susceptible to, and let vice take over you, but what I commend about her is that even when she was at the lowest point in her life, she did not let vice take over her. You know when she was at her lowest, she has always strived harder."

Talking about her personal battles, Shweta added, "That is also because I have so many responsibilities, so many people to look after. I can't afford to be depressed, or sulk, or let myself go in the drains because I have my daughter, my son, have my house to look after. I am the only earning member, I am the only strongest, I think I am the man woman of the house."

Palak also talked about how she feels that women are strong on their own and do not need support. She said, "Not just my mom, even the generation before that, I think they are very strong women. They don't need support including me. But, I think I do everything I do because I genuinely believe in everything she does. I am not blinded by anything. I have seen everything with my own eyes. I had time to make decisions for myself and I know that whatever she does, she does from a good place. She has never done anything evil. So it is not hard to support someone whom you have never seen doing anything wrong. It just comes naturally."

Shweta has been a popular TV star, and her daughter, Palak will also make her TV debut in a few years. When Palak was asked, how she creates a balance between her work and studies, she revealed that she always wanted to be an actor. She said, "Growing up I used to watch a lot of TV and I was fascinated by this woman wearing a saree and dancing. That was one thing that made an impression on me. For the longest time in my life, I did not know my mom is an actress. I had decided to be an actor way before I knew what an actor meant. Then I found out that she is an actor. Earlier for me, I thought every mother comes on TV and it was a normal thing. I did not know any different." Palak also talked about prepping for acting and added, "In terms of acting, I feel like nobody can teach you talent, you can enhance it but you can't just grow talent. So what I try to do is I like to watch shows which have good actors because I feel as an actor, you are so impressionable by the work you watch. And then I see how I would do it differently." Hearing this, Shweta emotionally added, "I have so many videos (of Palak acting). What I do is whenever I am home, I give her scenes and ask her to perform it naturally. She has done such beautiful scenes. Sometimes, I see it I feel so emotional and overwhelmed. I am so proud of her, she is such a good actor."

While Shweta freaks out on the idea of dating apps as a parent, Palak was asked if she shares her dating life and relationships with her mother, she said, "100%. I am not the kind of person who likes to lie to her. Back in the day, tried it, done it, hated it. It was traumatizing. So, now I am very honest about everything. It is not just dating, I tell her everything. If I like someone, if something shady is happening in the group, even if I am in a club, she is the first person to know everything. She is always very supportive." She also added that her mother supports her completely without being awkward about it.
