Palaash Muchhal Reacts To Smriti's Friend's Claims On Him Being Caught Red Handed In Bed, 'I Wish..'

Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana's personal lives became a topic of discussion when the wedding, which was fixed to happen in November 2025, was cancelled. Speculations were rife that Palaash Muchhal cheated on Smriti Mandhana, and amid this, several screenshots of the singer's flirty chats with a woman named Mary D'Costa went viral. 

Apart from that, it was also being reported that Palaash cheated on Smriti during their pre-wedding soiree and was caught red-handed. Later, Smriti and Palaash came forward and clarified that they won't divulge the details, but they have decided to call off their wedding. Amid this, Palaash was accused of a fraud worth Rs. 40 lakh, and some information about what happened at his pre-wedding soiree made rounds on social media. Now, Palaash came forward with a stern reply.

For the unversed, Smriti Mandhana's friend, Vidnyan Mane, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, claimed that Palaash Muchhal was caught red-handed with another woman in the bed during the pre-wedding soiree with Smriti Mandhana. He also said that Palaash was beaten by Indian female cricketers, and it was a horrific scene.

Well, now Palaash took to his social media handle and reacted to the claims made by Vindyan. He wrote in the statement that the claims Vidnyan made are entirely baseless and factually incorrect. He also mentioned that such claims were made with malicious intentions to tarnish his reputation, and thus, he will fight this through the proper legal channels with his lawyers. In the statement, Palaash penned:

"They have been made with malicious intent to tarnish my reputation, and they will not go unchallenged. My lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, is exploring all legal avenues, and this matter will be dealt with strictly through the appropriate legal channels."

On the other hand, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Palaash Muchhal's lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, revealed that all the claims that Vidnyan has made are not true. He revealed that Smriti's friend never paid them any money, and if so, why is he not coming forward with evidence, including bank statements? The lawyer also added that they don't even know Vidnyan, and the latter was introduced to them by Smriti's father only. He further questioned why, after all these months, Vidnyan is coming forward to make such claims. Stating that Palaash is exploring legal options, the lawyer said:

"He (Vidnyan) claims he has paid us money, but there is no evidence whether he paid by cheque or bank transfer. All the allegations about Palaash being caught with another woman — what is the evidence? We don’t know this guy; we met him through Smriti’s father (Shrinivas). We have no direct connection with him. Why did he keep quiet so long? It’s only after the marriage broke that he (Vidnyan) has turned up. Palaash is exploring his legal options."

What happened during Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana's wedding?

Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal were all set to be married on November 23, 2025, after they dated for a few years. However, it was after the sangeet that it was reported that the wedding was postponed as Smriti's father's health deteriorated and he suffered a heart-related issue, which led him to be under medical observation. It was also reported that Palaash was not well. However, later several claims started to make rounds, showcasing Palaash allegedly cheating on Smriti. Later, Smriti came forward and shared that she decided to call off the wedding, where Palaash denied being involved in any cheating angle.
