For the unversed, Smriti and Palaash were supposed to get married on November 23, 2025. Now, amid Palaash's cheating row, Smriti's friend's Instagram activity has fuelled the allegations.

Did Kranti Gaud indirectly confirm that Palaash Muchhal cheated on Smriti Mandhana?

The cheating rumors surrounding Palaash Muchhal emerged after his wedding to Smriti Mandhana was postponed due to Smriti's father's health issues. The speculation was fueled by Smriti's teammates deleting her wedding-related posts from Instagram. Smriti herself cleaned her Instagram of all photos with Palaash, except for her birthday wish for him. She also untagged herself from their engagement video. Amid that, a new development of the issue emerged, with the UP Warriorz player, Kranti Gaud, reposting a video regarding Palaash Muchhal's alleged cheating on her Instagram handle.

The latest IG activity of Kranti was spotted by eagle-eyed Redditors, who are convinced that it was an indirect confirmation of Palaash's cheating specualtions. Some social media users felt that Kranti Gaud might have accidentally hit the repost option, while others believed that she was well-versed with social media and consciously made the move. Many of Smriti Mandhana's fans echoed a similar sentiment, guessing that all her teammates knew the truth about what happened between her and Palaash, which led to their wedding being postponed indefinitely. Not just Kranti, but Smriti's other teammates' recent social media activity was also linked to the Palaash cheating row.

Team India's star pacer and Smriti Mandhana's friend, Renuka Singh Thakur, recently posted a cryptic message on her Instagram Story. Smriti's fans quickly spotted it and shared their views. The timing of the post made them feel that it was directed at Smriti. It was a quote that meant if someone has left our lives, we should accept it and let them go, considering it God's plan. Fans were of the opinion that it indicated Smriti removing Palaash from her life, due to his alleged cheating. The quote could be read as:

"If something leaves your life. a person, a job, a chapter, trust the divine precision behind it. Shiva is the Lord of Destruction, but never of chaos. Whatever He removes, He does for your liberation. What seems like loss today will reveal itself as protection tomorrow."

Besides Renuka and Kranti's Instagram activities, another close friend and teammate of Smriti, Radha Yadav, unfollowed Palash Muchhal amid speculation and the resurfacing of alleged chats between the singer-songwriter and another woman, Mary D'Costa. For the unversed, Mary posted screenshots of Paalash allegedly sending her flirty texts, asking her repeatedly to meet him privately. Additionally, during her inquiry into his relationship with Smriti, Palaash called it 'dead' due to the long distance. Following that, his cheating rumours with two other women– one anonymous and another woman, the choreographer for their wedding- circulated online.
