The pre-wedding soiree began, and it was only a day before the ceremony, when reports claimed that the wedding was postponed, as Smriti's father suffered a heart attack and was hospitalised.

Several alleged chats of Palaash Muchhal with his alleged wedding choreographer made rounds on social media, raising cheating allegations. In the chats, Palaash was seen insisting that the girl, Mary D'Costa, meet him at a Marriott, and he was even inviting her to swim and use the spa. In the chats, Mary even asked Palaash about his bonding with Smriti, to which Palaash said that 'it sucks' and stated that it's a 'long distance' relationship and it's 'dead most'.

These alleged chats were first shared on Reddit and were later removed. While the authenticity of such claims is yet to be verified, some more chats made rounds on social media. In the chats, Palaash allegedly asked Mary to meet him at 5 A.M at a beach. He even praised her for her looks, while flirtily joking that he would set up his kids with Mary's, which would be a way for them to be together.

Such screenshots have been making waves on social media, and even though neither Palaash nor Smriti reacted to them, they instantly became the talk of the town. On the other hand, we stumbled upon another IG profile of Mary D'Costa, and the viral screenshots were part of her IG stories. Recently, Mary's cryptic IG bio grabbed the attention, wherein she wrote, "Just a girl, leaving ink on time", with the situation with her allegations, with viral chats, and Smriti and Palaash's wedding being postponed.
