Pakistani actress, Hania Aamir has been in the headlines again in India. It happened after internet users spotted yet another Instagram account of the actress. For the unversed, the Indian government has put a ban on Pakistani artists' shows and social media accounts after the terr***st attack at Pahalgam in Kashmir.
Hania Aamir is currently portraying the role of 'Ayra' opposite Bilal Abbas Khan in the recent record-breaking Pakistani drama, Meri Zindagi Hai Tu. Amidst it, netizens spotted Hania's other Instagram account, while her official blue-ticked account remains ban in India. The account features exclusive content, and the username is 'HaniaPaneer'. The screenshot of the profile has been widely circulated on Reddit. The account has over 23.3K followers. The netizen wrote:
"This new account has exclusive content, and a lot of her oldest fan pages, along with Pakistani Twitter users, have confirmed it's her new account after Naamtosunahoga. How desperate one can get!!"

Soon, users slammed Hania for creating another account after making a mean remark about India. One user called her desperate, while another branded her as 'Clout Chaser'. One user on Reddit wrote, "Bruhh she is a clout chaser...Indian audience are fools who give these actors clout." Another one commented, "Why so desperate, bro?" Another one penned, "Desperation for views.. that country can't give you enough views for these celebs to say 'We are superstars..look at our social media numbers."

For the unversed, the Indian government banned the interaction of Pakistani stars with Indian citizens as a severe measure post-Pahalagam terror attack. Hania Aamir then created a new Instagram account under the username 'Naamtousunahogaa', which was also accessible to the Indian audience. As per a Reddit, a post on her account reads:
"Ye mere andar downfall me bhi mauj masti karne ki himmat aa kaha se rahi hai (sic)."

While Indian fans back then loved Hania's move, Pakistani netizens slammed Hania Aamir. They accused her of trying to please Indians and lashed out at her for not standing by her nation. Poking fun at Hania, one user wrote, "Someone please tell her that she's not getting into Bollywood as long as the current government is in power in India. India banned TikTok in 2019, and it's 2025. And it's still banned, and so will she."

Following the backlash, Hania's team quickly clarified the matter. They revealed that she is not trying to impress Indians for the sake of work. They further claimed that Hania's earlier Instagram account was deleted, and so, she created a new one, but it wasn't set on 'private'. The statement can be read as:
"Attention please! There’s a misunderstanding going around about Hania’s new account. Some people think she’s trying to reach out to India for work or securing fans there, but that’s not true. Her old private account with us was deleted by Instagram, and she just made a new one with the same name. Unfortunately, it wasn’t set to private yet, which led to the confusion. Let’s clarify that Hania’s actions have nothing to do with seeking work opportunities or following in India. We know her heart!"
