Orry Revealed Ananya Panday Was 'Jealous And Insecure' Of Him Being On 'Call Me Bae', Says, 'I Am..'

Orhan Awatramani, famously known as 'Orry', is an internet personality. The influencer rose to prominence for his involvement with Bollywood, earning the tag of 'Bollywood BFF'. Orry has also shot for an ad with Karan Johar, where he gave the world a glimpse of his acting talents. However, that was not the only on-screen performance Orry had. He was also seen in Ananya Panday's popular Amazon series, Call Me Bae.

Orry opens up about his quarrel with Ananya Panday

Orry appeared on an episode of Aleena Dissects in October 2024. During the show, the internet sensation revealed some exceedingly unexpected behind-the-scenes gossip about Amazon Prime's popular series, Call Me Bae, which also stars Orry's BFF, Ananya Panday. However, discussing his bond with Bollywood actresses, Orry was reminded of a major falling out he had with Ananya.

During the conversation, Orry mentioned that he had a fallout with his best friend and actress, Ananya Panday. He said, "We had a very big fallout when we were shooting for Call Me Bae." The interviewer, surprised, asked about the internet sensation, "Really? It was during Call Me Bae?" Orry confirmed and said that it was indeed true. He was quoted saying:

"It was during Call Me Bae that we had a very, very, very big fallout, and then we patched up, but it was a very big fallout."

Orry revealed Ananya Panday was threatened by his presence on the set of Call Me Bae

In the same conversation, Orry was asked if the falling out was the result of his presence on the show. Orry admitted that it was because Ananya Panday was jealous and insecure about him being a part of the show. He added that Ananya had passed some really mean comments on him during that time.

He further added that though it was hurtful, he looked at it in a positive light, saying that if an actress like Ananya Panday felt threatened by him being a part of the show, he was on the right track. He added that to him Ananya was a senior actress, and if she felt threatened by his presence, then it was confirmed that he was on the right track. He was quoted saying:

"Yes, Yes. She was jealous and insecure that I was going to be on the show. She passed on some really mean comments to me. And I was like, if Ananya Panday is threatened by my presence on set, then surely I am on the right track. Because such a senior actor....to me she is a senior actor, she is the lead actor on the set, she could have me removed from the show, and she is threatened by my presence, then surely I am doing something right. She was not happy with me on the set."

For the unversed, Orry has a small cameo in Ananya's comedy series, Call Me Bae. The film won the actress a huge amount of love from her fans, but apparently, it even led to her fallout with her bestie, Orry. However, Orry, in the interview, confirmed that he was able to patch up things and that they are best friends again.
