'Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi' Release Date Announced, Sanjay And Mahima Bring Chaos At Wedding

A few weeks ago, veteran actor, Sanjay Mishra and actress, Mahima Chaudhry sparked marriage rumours, when they posed as a married couple in front of the paparazzi. However, it was soon disclosed that the two were only promoting their upcoming film. Since then, fans have been waiting for their film and well, the wait is over as the official poster of Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi, along with the film's release date is out.

On November 17, 2025, actor, Sanjay Mishra took to his Instagram handle to share the official poster of his upcoming film, Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi. The poster features Sanjay Mishra and Mahima Chaudhry dressed as bride and groom. While, Mahima looks all happy in a red saree with gold jewellery, Sanjay is wearing a white kurta-pyjama, holding a garland and has a confused expression. This sets the tone for a fun and humorous narrative. Along with the poster, the makers also dropped the release date. And viewers need not wait for long, as the film will be released on December 19, 2025. The caption of the post can be read as:

"The wedding bells are ringing! Get ready to celebrate love, family, and second chances. #DurlabhPrasadKiDusriShadi is coming to the big screen on 19th December."

Sanjay Mishra and Mahima Chaudhry’s wedding rumours

A few weeks ago, Sanjay and Mahima shocked the entire nation, when they appeared in front of the paparazzi, dressed as a bride and groom. For those who don’t know, the two were seen wearing almost the same clothes as shown in the official poster. As soon as the clip went viral, viewers assumed that the couple had tied the knot. However, Mahima and Sanjay later announced that they were only promoting their upcoming film.

The film, Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi is directed by Siddhant Raj Singh and produced by Ekansh Bachchan and Harsha Bachchan under the banner of Eksha Entertainment. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Pallak Lalwani, Pravin Singh Sisodia and Shrikant Verma. The producers of the film, Ekansh and Harsha had opened about the film and said:

"This film is special for us because it celebrates the courage to start again. The duo of Sanjay ji and Mahima ji brings a unique, heart-warming beauty to the screen."

Mahima Chaudhry made her debut with the 1997 film, Pardes, and slowly went on to become one of the most celebrated actresses of the late '90s. Over the years, she appeared in films like Daag, Dhadkan, Lajja and more. After a long break from acting, she made a powerful comeback in 2023 with The Signature. 

On the other hand, veteran actor, Sanjay Mishra made his acting debut with the 1995 film, Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India!. Over the years, he appeared in hit and iconic films like Ankhon Dekhi, Golmaal, Vadh, Bhool Chuk Maaf, Son Of Sardaar 2, Total Dhamaal and more. In his personal life, he is married to Kiran Mishra.
