Nysa Recreates Mom, Kajol's Iconic 1996 Photoshoot For Halloween, Orry Copies Rekha's Poses

Nysa Devgan and Orhan Awatramani are best friends and often hang out together. Nysa and Orry never miss a moment to make their fans awestruck with their out-of-the-box ideas. Something similar happened recently when the two decided to recreate Kajol and Rekha’s iconic photoshoot for the magazine, Cineblitz in 1996.

Orry took to his IG handle and posted a Reel as he collaborates with Nysa Devgan to recreate a fun photoshoot ahead of Halloween. In the video, Nysa chose to recreate her mom’s look, while Orry opted for Rekha’s look. The video began with the two preparing for the photoshoot, and the end results were unbelievable.

They paid attention to minute details in each look and did justice, with Orry copying Rekha’s poses and mannerisms. He captioned the post as, “Genz equivalent of the (2/7 HW’25) (sic).” As soon as the video was posted on social media, celebs heaped praises on Nysa and Orry’s exceptional efforts. Many also pointed out Nysa’s striking looks with Kajol.

It was in 1996 when Kajol and Rekha did a bold photoshoot for the magazine, Cineblitz. The photoshoot featured Kajol and Rekha sharing a single oversized off-shoulder sweater to cover both their upper bodies. It was considered bold and sultry by many, and the actresses faced furious backlash for the sensuous attire and portrayal.

Kajol ridiculed the infamous photoshoot years later. In 2018, when she and Rekha attended Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ lavish wedding reception, they took a picture together, which Kajol humorously captioned:

“Last time we clicked a picture together was in a sweater.”

Kajol reveals whether Nysa will step into the acting world

Kajol is very protective of her daughter, Nysa. Ever since she was a kid, Nysa has received a lot of media attention. Kajol, in an interview at News18’s Rising Bharat Summit, was asked whether or not Nysa is thinking about making a debut in the Hindi film industry. To this, Kajol said that her daughter is 22 years old and that she thinks Nysa has made up her mind not to step into the acting world. In her words:

“Bilkul nai..no, I think..vo 22 saal ki ho gaye hai..hone wali hai abhi.. I think she has made up her mind that ki nai aane wali hai abhi."
