The actress recently attended the silver jubilee celebration of the IIFA Awards in Jaipur, and a clip of hers from the event has caught the attention of the netizens.

Nushrratt Bharuccha met her favourite actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan, on the green carpet of the IIFA Awards 2025. The media caught their interaction. Nushrratt was dressed in a purple and golden Banarasi saree draped like a skirt and a halterneck golden embellished blouse. On the other hand, Kareena donned an icy blue gown. The duo indulged in a conversation when Nushrratt got visibly emotional and was extremely overwhelmed while Kareena calmly conversed with her.

The video was soon shared on the discussion platform, Reddit and netizens had a hilarious take on the video. While being starstruck by one's favourite celebrity is not unheard of, netizens were unsure why Nushrratt was so overwhelmed and asked, "I mean, Nushrratt has been in the industry for around 20 years now to be acting this awestruck." Another user took a jab at the actress' hypermovement and gestures and stated, "Ma'am, may I go to the toilet? Please, ma'am, please. I promise I'll come straight back to the class." Another user penned, "Toilet kahan hai?" A Redditor also penned, "Next movie mein role maang rahi hai shayad." 

While some netizens found the video funny, others understood where Nushrratt's excitement came from. A user defended her and said, "Nushrratt Bharuccha is a huge Kareena fan. She also posted about the same a few years ago when she met Kareena while promoting Dream Girl at Dance India Dance." Another penned, "She has often said that she is a huge Kareena fan. That's why she got excited after seeing her on the green carpet." Another user penned, "Nushrat is cute and bubbly."

Netizens question Kareena Kapoor Khan's recent appearances 

In the same post, some netizens also questioned if Kareena Kapoor Khan's recent appearances had something to do with her husband, Saif Ali Khan's alleged bankruptcy. They called her performance at the IIFA Awards 2025 and chat with Shahid Kapoor, very non-Kareena moves. However, soon, a user defended the actress and stated:

"Kareena has always mentioned that she would prefer to get a reward instead of an award.. she agreed to perform at an award show after just 1 month of her delivery when Kat walked out of dance performance at an award show.. even last year she performed at Filmfare, and she also performed at Miss india contest a few years ago! More importantly, this time at IIFA she gave a tribute to Raj Kapoor to celebrate his 100th birth anniversary. I'm sure she would be more than proud to do it!"
