It was during the award function when Nora playfully teased Kartik on his varied dating rumours that surrounded the star.

There have been strong rumours doing buzz that Kartik is seeing Sreeleela. Now, Nora did not leave a chance to take a dig at him during the IIFA Awards. It all began when Karan Johar, who was seen hosting the show, asked Nora if she would like to travel with Kartik to London with a first-class ticket. It seems like Kartik has already hinted at his relationship with Sreeleela. There was a segment where Kartik and Karan asked the celebrities who should give them company if the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor made a trip to London. Nora asked Kartik:

A video from the event went viral, where Tiwari was asked about her expectations of her future daughter-in-law. Kartik's mom reacted to this and shared that his wife needed to be a good doctor. She said that the family’s demand is for a very good doctor. Everyone was left stunned and started thinking that Mala was hinting at Kartik's relationship with Sreeleela as the South Indian actress is also studying medicine to become a doctor. Talking about Kartik, he has been rumoured to be in multiple relationships. From allegedly being in a relationship with Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Kriti Sanon, the actor has always been linked up with them.

Well, neither Kartik nor Sreeleela has confirmed being in a relationship. However, his mom's statement has raised speculations about the love brewing between Kartik and Sreeleela. Now, in a clip that went viral on social media, Kartik and Sreeleela were seen having a ball of a time at their house party. The actress was also doing the hookstep of the Pushpa 2 song, Kissik, and Kartik were seen standing behind her. He had captured all the moments of the party from his cellphone.

It is interesting to note that Sreeleela and Kartik would be sharing the screen space in an untitled movie that Anurag Basu would direct. The movie would be their first collaboration post, in which Kartik would be seen singing, Tu Meri Zindagi on stage. Kartik was seen in a lover's boy look, with rugged hair and a heavy beard. The clip showcased the romantic moments between Kartik and Sreeleela.
