Konark Gowariker, son of filmmaker, Ashutosh Gowariker, tied the knot with Niyati Kanakia, daughter of real estate mogul, Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia, in a grand wedding on March 2, 2025. The wedding was nothing short of a Bollywood spectacle, graced by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and more.

Their wedding festivities kicked off with a colourful and vibrant haldi ceremony on February 2025, followed by an electrifying sangeet night on March 1, 2025. But it was the bride, Niyati’s wedding entry that truly stole the show!

Traditionally, the groom arrives at the wedding venue in a baraat, but for Niyati and Konark’s epic wedding, the story was different. Niyati turned traditions around and danced her heart out in her own baraat.

As she joined the groom, Konark, she looked absolutely breathtaking in her heavily embellished lehenga with intricate embroidery and sequin work. The lehenga featured shades of cream and gold with detailed floral patterns and sparkling accents. Niyati paired her lehenga with a matching blouse, a light blue denim jacket and shades, adding a modern flair to her traditional attire. Meanwhile, Konark looked handsome in a traditional off-white kurta, matching headgear and sunglasses.

Capturing the beautiful moments, luxury wedding photographers named WeddingNama, shared some photos of Konark and Niyati’s fun-filled wedding. The caption to the post perfectly summed up the positive vibes. It read:

Inside Konark and Niyati’s lavish wedding

Konark and Niyati’s wedding was held at a lavish venue and blended traditional customs with contemporary flair. For their wedding, Niyati dazzled in a pastel-hued lehenga embellished with intricate embroidery and patterns in gold and silver. She paired the lehenga with a heavily embroidered blouse, a pink dupatta draped over her head, and a red one on her shoulder. She completed her regal look with a multi-layered statement necklace, choker, earrings, maang teeka, and bangles.

The groom, Konark Gowariker, perfectly complemented his bride in a cream-coloured sherwani adorned with intricate embroidery and patterns. He paired it with a long, orange stole with decorative borders, white headgear, and a multi-layered pearl necklace around his neck. In a heartfelt moment, Konark was seen wiping away tears of joy during the wedding rituals, overwhelmed with happiness as he began his forever journey with Niyati.

Ashutosh Gowariker’s son, Konark, works closely with his father in filmmaking, but whether he will step into Bollywood as an actor is not known. His now-wife, Niyati, hails from a business family, but not much is known about her personal life.
