Cricketer, Nitish Rana And Wife, Saachi Marwah Announce Pregnancy, Couple Set To Welcome Twins

Nitish Rana has been among well-known players in the Indian Premier League who rose to fame with his performance in Kolkata Knight Riders. He is an attacking left-handed batsman and off-spin bowler who represented India in the ODI and T20 formats. Apart from his talent, some of Nitish's memorable performances earned him a loyal fan following. The Rajasthan Royals player is preparing for the upcoming season of the IPL that will begin on March 22, 2025. Amid his professional endeavours, Nitish surprised everyone by announcing that he and his wife, Saachi Marwah, are expecting twins.

Nitish Rana and Saachi Marwah Rana took to their Instagram handle during the late hours of March 6, 2025, and shared a special collaborative post with a photo and special caption. The photo featured Saachi keeping her hand on Nitish's hand. With the heartfelt picture, they shared a special caption to reveal that they are expecting two little members in their family. Sharing the announcement, the couple penned: 

"From stadiums to site visits, now onto our biggest project yet—two tiny teammates coming soon!."

When Nitish and Saachi shared the announcement on Instagram, they soon received congratulatory messages from their loved ones. Among them, Nitish's new IPL franchise, Rajasthan Royals, wished the soon-to-be parents adorably and penned: "Getting you two tiny pink shirts." On the other hand, several fellow cricketers of Nitish, like Ramandeep Singh, Rasikh Salam Dar and Mayank Dagar, extended their best wishes to the couple.

Saachi Marwah shared a cryptic post when Kolkata Knight Riders dropped Nitish Rana ahead of IPL 2025

Nitish Rana's wife, Saachi Marwah, came under the spotlight when the cricketer was dropped by his former IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders. Despite leading the side in 2023 and playing a crucial role in their victory in 2024, the attacking left-handed batsman was released before the auction. It left fans stunned, and his wife, Saachi Marwah, took to her social media handle and shared a cryptic note that read: 

"Loyalty is expensive, not everyone can afford it."

Nitish Rana first met Saachi Marwah during a casual football session, and he soon fell in love with her. They dated for three long years before they tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony 2019. For those unaware, Saachi is the niece of actor, Govinda and cousin sister of comedian, Krushna Abhishek. At the same time, her parents are national award-winning bronze sculptors. 

Saachi is an award-winning interior designer, and began her entrepreneurial journey after co-founding the Saachi and Navneet Design Studio in 2016. She has collaborated with many high-profile clients and is often spotted in stands, cheering for Nitish and his team during IPL matches. Saachi also has an impressive social media following, earning her a net worth of around INR 12 crores.
