India's richest businessman, Mukesh Ambani's wife, Nita Ambani, has carved her own place in the hearts of millions as a founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation. She is also the founder of India's biggest school, Dhirubhai Ambani International School, and is responsible for shaping young minds. In 2023, with the launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani's Culture Center, Nita Ambani showcased her artsy side to the world. While we all know about her and her accomplishments, not many know about her sister, Mamta Dalal. 

Just like Nita Ambani, Mamta Dalal also found her calling in teaching children. However, she has kept a low profile. She is the youngest sister of Nita Ambani. For the unversed, right after Nita Ambani tied the knot with Mukesh Ambani, she started working as a nursery teacher. Let's know more about her younger sister. 

Who is Mamta Dalal?

Mamta Dalal is the youngest daughter of a moderately affluent Gujarati family, born to Ravindrabhai Dalal (who passed away in 2014) and Purnima Dalal. Mamta is four years younger than Nita Ambani. Just like her elder sister, Nita Ambani, Mamta Dalal also pursued her career as an educator and nurturing young minds.

Mamta Dalal is the primary teacher at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School

Mamta Dalal has been imparting her knowledge to primary school students at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. She is also working as a member of the school's management committee. On the other hand, Nita Ambani is the founder and the chairperson of the school. The school also has a junior branch for pre-primary and primary students. They cater to the educational needs of business class and celebrity background families.

For the unversed, Mamta Dalal has also provided tutoring classes to Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan. She even organises workshops and camps to enhance the knowledge in a more efficient way for her students.

Nita Ambani shares a close bond with her sister, Mamta Dalal. Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Nita Ambani opened up about her relationship with Mamta Dalal and stated that they have a strong bond. The two were raised in a joint family, and there were 11 daughters in total, including cousins and sisters. The family ensured that their girls were well-taught in those days when women were not allowed to study. Talking about the same, Nita said:

"I share a strong bond with my sister Mamta. We were 11 girls – myself, my little sister Mamta and nine cousin sisters. We were raised in a joint family. All of us were brought-up to believe in the power of education and the critical need for equality and empowerment of women."

Well, Nita Ambani and Mamta Dalal share a striking resemblance, and they both are known for their kind-hearted nature and love for knowledge. They are even famous for sharing each other's clothes and jewellery.
