Nita Ambani Used To Work At This School After Marriage With Mukesh Ambani, First Salary Was Rs. 800

Nita Ambani worked in Sunflower Nursery School after marriage to Mukesh Ambani

Despite being one of the richest businesswomen, Nita Ambani takes immense pride in her Gujarati roots. After all, she had humble beginnings as a nursery school teacher. Yes, before establishing her own school in her father-in-law's name, Nita Ambani began her career in education as a teacher at Sunflower Nursery School. 

Nita Ambani's first pay cheque was just Rs. 800

Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani revealed the same during their appearance on Simi Garewal's show. Mukesh Ambani revealed that after their marriage in 1985, Nita Ambani started working a school teacher at Sunflower Nursery School. A proud Nita chimed in and stated that she was paid Rs. 800 per month, which was quite a significant amount, as women in those days didn't have the privilege to earn. She said:

"I was paid rupees 800 per month and all that salary was mine."

Nita Ambani told Mukesh Ambani she would marry him if he would let her work as a teacher

Nita Ambani completed her graduation from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. At the age of twenty, she became Dhirubhai Ambani's bahu, but she had put forward a condition to marry Mukesh Ambani. She told him that she would say 'yes' to the marriage only if he would let her continue her teaching job. She continued her teaching work for several years after her marriage. 

Nita Ambani's established Dhirubhai Ambani International School 

Nita Ambani's dream as a teacher took flight in 2003 when she decided to open her own school, incorporating international teaching guidelines and practical learning methods alongside textbook knowledge. DAIS was established with the goal of providing world-class educational opportunities. 

Regarding the jaw-dropping fee structure, according to several reports, the fees range from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 20 lakhs. The fee structure varies from class to class. It is reported that the monthly fee from an LKG student to a 7th class is Rs. 1.70 lakhs. However, the fees for students in classes 8 to 10 is Rs. 4.48 lakhs, whereas students in classes 11 and 12 have to pay approximately Rs. 9.65 lakhs. According to reports, over 1000 students study in the school. Also, let us inform you that there are 14 Reliance Foundation Schools located in Jamnagar, Surat, Vadodara, Dahej, Lodhivali, Nagothane, Nagpur, and Navi Mumbai.

Nita Ambani's dedication as a teacher has shaped many young minds and given wings to numerous talents. She demonstrated that if a girl wants to, she can achieve all she desires in life with the right amount of dedication.
