Nita Ambani Opens Up About Her Bond With Husband, Mukesh Ambani, 'Every Day Of My Life, I Feel...'

Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani are among the most ideal couples in the business world. They tied the knot in 1985 and have been together for more than 40 years, supporting each other through thick and thin. Nita Ambani is the founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, while Mukesh Ambani is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries. But, despite their busy schedules, the couple has never taken their relationship for granted and motivated each other at every step giving us major couple goals. In a recent interview, Nita Ambani opened up about her bond with Mukesh Ambani and how they feel watching their children thrive in their respective careers. 

Nita Ambani shares that her husband, Mukesh Ambani, is her 'best friend'

Nita Ambani recently sat down for an interview with Bloomberg and opened up about her relationship with her husband, Mukesh Ambani and their kids. When asked about Mukesh Ambani, Nita shared that she feels grateful every day in her life to have Mukesh Ambani with her, who has always supported her work. At the same time, she called him, her best friend and said: 

"Every day of my life, I feel so blessed because I am married to my best friend. Mukesh has been my true supporter, the wind beneath my wings. He is my biggest inspiration. So, I think to have married someone who supports you unconditionally the way Mukesh supports me is truly a blessing."

In the same conversation, she spoke about their kids, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani and Anant Ambani. Nita was asked how her kids decided which department they wanted to take in Reliance Industries, and the philanthropist shared an interesting revelation. She mentioned that her elder son, Akash, has been interested in the tech field since childhood. Consequently, he joined Jio, and Isha had always been the sensitive one. Nita expressed her joy at having a daughter with the same beliefs and values as her. Given her skills, Isha joined Reliance Retail, and as a mother, Nita feels immense pride in it. 

Nita Ambani opens up about her younger son, Anant Ambani's passion for the environment 

Nita Ambani added that, unlike her elder kids, Anant was always been keen on saving the environment and protecting wildlife. As a result, he took over their company's green energy project. For those unaware, Anant also runs an animal rehabilitation centre in Jamnagar. Expressing her pride and extending her support for them, Nita mentioned: 

"This is the time for my children to lead and achieve their aspirations. I'll be there for them, whether babysitting or just being home, so they can soar and achieve their dreams." 

Nita Ambani recalls her younger son, Anant Ambani's struggle with obesity

Nita Ambani opened up about her younger son, Anant Ambani's grand wedding with Radhika Merchant in 2024 and recalled his struggles with obesity. She mentioned that since childhood, Anant suffered from severe asthma, and its medications have caused him to gain weight. However, the proud mother was delighted when her son confidently walked on stage for the wedding. In her words: 

"My son Anant has been fighting obesity from a very young age because of his asthma. When he went up on stage as a confident groom, he told me, ''Mom, it's not what I am physically; it's what my heart is.'' And I saw him holding his life partner's hand. I think that was the most touching feeling as a mother."
