The Ambani family somehow remains in the news for all the right reasons. From donating crores in religious places to hosting a grand three-day launch event for their cultural centre and expanding their business in the beauty and fashion industry, Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani have taken their business to another level with the help of their children, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani and Anant Ambani. Recently, Nita Ambani integrated the first Swadesh store by Reliance Retail in Telangana.

On November 8, 2023, Nita Ambani took Indian arts and crafts to another level as she integrated the first-ever Swadesh storey by Reliance Retail in Hyderabad. The store is the love of the Reliance Foundation, as they had committed to promoting traditional artists and artisans. Nita Ambani envisioned creating a platform to showcase their talent.

Nita Ambani was decked up in a purple-hued silk saree with a golden foil print for the launch event. She styled her look with her favourite diamond and emerald jewellery comprising of a long neckpiece, matching earrings, bangles and a cocktail ring. Her look was complete with subtle makeup, perfectly lined eyes, a purple bindi, and hair tied in a bun. 

Several celebrities, including Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu, Sania Mirza, Ram Charan, and his wife, Upasana Kamineni, attended the event. Nita Ambani also expressed her love for the flagship store, an ode to India's traditional arts and artisans. She called it their humble initiative to preserve and promote the country's age-old arts and crafts. She was quoted as saying:

"Swadesh highlights the spirit of ‘Make in India’ and offers respect and sustenance to our skilled craftsmen and craftswomen. They are truly the pride of our country, and through Swadesh we hope to give them the global recognition that they richly deserve. That is why we are excited to expand Swadesh across India and internationally in the US and Europe."
