Nita is a chai lover and drinks her morning tea from a unique tea cup. The cups from which Nita drinks her morning tea is purchased from Japan’s oldest crockery brand, Noritech.
The popular Japanese brand has a set of 50 porcelain cup set, costing approximately Rs. 1.5 crores, which means each cup costs Rs. 3 lakhs. The cups are designed in a unique fashion and features gold and platinum borders on its rim. The design is rare to find and is only available with Noritech.
Not many people know that Nita Ambani has a keen eye for kitchenware and the businesswoman travels to Sri Lanka to purchase the same. She swears by the brand Noritake, and the company has its largest manufacturing hub in Sri Lanka. It also serves as an export base, which makes the products cheaper in Sri Lanka than in India. The dinner set which usually costs Rs. 67,000 to Rs. 1.6 lakh in India is available in Sri Lanka for Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 42,000.

Apart from her costly kitchenware, Nita Ambani often garners attention for her unique outfits and jaw dropping diamonds. According to Kalamtimes, Nita once wore a saree worth Rs. 40 lakhs, which was one of the most expensive sarees. The ‘Vivah Pattu Saree’ was studded with some real diamond, gold and other gemstones. The saree, designed by Sivalingam, the director of Chennai Silks, featured a detailed painting of the Lord of Nathdwara.
Nita Ambani has a thing for diamonds and other precious gems, as we have often spotted her flaunting her unique collection. At the launch of NMACC Arts Café, Nita Ambani opted for an off-white silk, full-sleeved top from Celine, paired with wide-legged trousers in black. Nita complemented her attire with a pair of huge boulder earrings, which featured two gigantic diamonds attached together.
During Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s 'Mangal Utsav,' Nita Ambani wore a double-layered diamond haar with matching diamond earrings and bangles. However, it was her chunky diamond ring that became the highlight of her overall look. She wore a ring called the 'mirror of paradise', which weighed 52.58 carats. It featured tapered baguette-cut diamonds and cost a whopping USD 6.5 million, approximately equivalent to Rs 53 crore.
