The Ambanis have always been a deeply traditional family, rooted in cultural values and undying love for one another. They are always seen as the biggest cheerleaders for one another and leave no stone unturned to make each other feel special. Moreover, the Ambani clan is known to have maintained a fond relationship with their daughters-in-law, whom they treat equally like their daughter. Proof of the same was found in 2018 when Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son, Akash Ambani got engaged to his ladylove, Shloka Mehta.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement took place in a grand celebration in Goa on March 24, 2018. It was a private ceremony attended by their close friends and family members. And to compensate for the same, they later hosted a lavish ceremony in their Mumbai residence, Antilia, that was attended by the A-listers of Bollywood. And during the same, it was Shloka’s then darling nanad-to-be, Isha Ambani who dedicated a special message to her, as a mark of welcoming her to the family. She mentioned:
“Today is all about 'hearts'. The theme is 'hearts', Shloka is a 'heart', Akash is a 'heart'; it's about the greeting of hearts, the meeting of hearts, and the celebration of hearts. And Anant and I are all hearts for Shloka and Akash. I don't think our hearts could burst anymore with love and affection than it is today. And, we are just so happy to call Akash our bhai and Shloka our Bhabhi."

Going further in the speech, Isha reminisced her old school days with Shloka and recalled how she had always been more-like sister to the latter as well as her sister, Diya Mehta. Calling Diya and Shloka as her sisters from another mother, she mentioned:
“Welcome to the family. But the truth is that Shloka has been a part of our family since as far as I can remember. Diya (Shloka's sister) and I were in school together, and Diya is the first best friend I ever had. And, by relation, Shloka has also been my best friend since...I don't know, I can't even remember a time in my life when I didn't know Shloka. So in many ways, this is the officialising the fact that we were sisters; born to different mothers. And I am just so happy that I finally get to call her my real sister. And, our family feels complete in a way that it never did before. So, welcome to the family."
Well, the warm and loving gestures were not only restricted to Isha, but her mommy, Nita as well. There are simply no points in guessing how much excited the Ambani matriarch was as she welcomed her bahu to the family. And to commemorate her feelings, she penned a small poem for her, that conveyed all the special memories of Shloka and Akash’s love story, that began right from their school days. The poem could be read as:

"They went to Kindergarten to learn ABC, not knowing — que sera sera, what their future would be, gummy bears and jujubes, sparkle pops and jelly beans, sweetened their lives, from childhood through teens! Till glasses of milk made way for cups of tea… and the sky fell in love with sweet chants of glee! From ponytails and Barbies…from pranks and football…The years just blended… And, today they stand tall With their eyes full of love, with one single plea…Their hearts beat in rhythm singing, “Will you marry me?” Today we bless them, and today we pray: All through their lives, on each golden day, may they always be there holding hands side by side, may Gods shower their blessings on this groom and his bride!”

For the unversed, even before becoming nanad and bhabhi of one another, Isha Ambani and Shloka Mehta have been school BFFs and have known each other since their childhood days. In fact, Isha’s twin, Akash Ambani also attended the same school, which therefore set the foundation of his love story with Shloka Mehta. The three of them spent their most amazing days together, and proof of the same was found in a few old pictures shared by their fan accounts. While one of them featured Isha and Shloka giggling like every school girl on their last day of school, the second picture captures a rare moment of Akash and Shloka from their school days.
