Nilu Kohli Remembers Deepika Padukone's Reaction When Water Got Sprayed On The Actress, 'She Did..'

Deepika Padukone is one of the top actresses of the Bollywood industry. She and her husband, Ranveer Singh, are Dua Padukone's parents. The actress had worked with many famous people in the industry, one of them being, Nilu Kohli. Apart from creating a household name for herself in the country, she has showcased her acting chops in Bollywood and Punjabi film industries. She has done many memorable films that have been added to her kitty, one of them being Break Ke Baad, with Deepika. Although, do you know Nilu had accidentally sprayed water on Deepika and opened up about how Padukone had reacted to it.

Nilu Kohli remembered how by mistake she sprayed water on Deepika Padukone

Nilu, who has always kept a low profile related to her personal life, recently in an interaction with the Hindi Rush spoke about an incident. She revealed when she was in Mauritius shooting for Break Ke Baad, when she had first met Deepika, she was awestruck by her beauty but by mistake sprayed water on her face. Nilu said that they were shooting Break Ke Baad in Mauritius, and there was this huge bouquet which was there in the scene. It was around the evening and the bouquet was slowly wilting. She was trying to water the bouquet so that it would not wither because of her love for plants. She said:

"Then suddenly this voice says, ‘Who is this?’ I looked at the side and saw it was Deepika who was sitting on the other side of the bouquet and the water that I was spraying went on her face. I was so awestruck! She actually looks like a goddess, but yeah nothing happened after that because she realized what I was doing and I said sorry and she did not mind.”

When Imran Khan revealed his shooting experience with Deepika Padukone in Mauritius for Break Ke Baad

For the unversed, Break Ke Baad was a romantic comedy film that had Deepika and Imran. Kunal Kohli and Danish Aslam produced and directed it. Imran, like Nilu, also once remembered the good old days from the film shoot. He shared about his experience of shooting for the movie in the summer of 2010. The actor revealed of making lifelong friends and stated:

"In the summer of 2010, I went to Mauritius to shoot Break ke Baad. We swam every day, ate a lot of seafood, sampled Mauritian rum (potent), and made some friends for life. It was a blast. Apparently, in between all the revelries, we managed to make a film as well. This one always had a special place in my heart, because of how much I enjoyed making it. I can’t show you many of the behind the scenes photographs, as it may compromise the modesty of certain individuals… but here’s a glimpse."

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Kalki 2898 AD and in Rohit Shetty directed, Singham Again. She has been a hands-on mother ever since Dua was born.
