Nikitin Dheer Slams Paps For Insensitive Coverage Around Dharmendra's Health, Jeetendra's Fall

Veteran stars, Dharmendra and Jeetendra, have both been in the news lately. Jeetendra had a fall while attending Zarine Khan's prayer meeting at the JW Marriott Hotel, Mumbai, a while back. He lost balance while looking at the paps. On the other hand, false reports about Dharmendra's demise went viral. As if it were not enough, a video from Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, where he was admitted, showed Dharmendra's wife, Prakash Kaur, breaking down. Now, Nikitin Dheer has slammed the media for being insensitive.

Nikitin Dheer slams the paps for being insensitive towards Dharmendra and Jeetendra

For the unversed, Nikitin Dheer is the son of the late actor, Pankaj Dheer. He has been angry and upset over the way Dharmendra's health and hospitalisation coverage were done, and also spoke about how Jeetendra was filmed when he had a fall at Zarine Khan's prayer meeting. Nikitin called the paps 'despicable' and 'vultures'. Nikitin started off his post by saying how he lost his dad recently, and the paps being despicable. He felt as if he were encircled by vultures and not talking to humans. He shared losing respect for the paps after the way Dharmendra and Jeetendra were filmed. Nikitin wrote:

"I have lost a lot of respect for them when I saw the way they filmed Shri Jeetendra and used his vulnerability for views. Now again the way they are behaving when Shri Dharmendra is unwell, it's just sad. As a society, is likes and views all that's left of us."

Nikitin Dheer shares that the paps need to understand what Dharmendra and Jeetendra went through

For the unversed, it was on October 15, 2025, when Nikitin Dheer lost his father, Pankaj Dheer and left the nation mourning. A few weeks down, Bollywood's 'He Man' Dharmendra's health deteriorated, and the paps did on-ground reporting of every moment, without caring what was true and false. On the other hand, Jeetendra's fall at Zarine Khan's prayer meeting also became a topic of discussion, with the camera zooming in to show the fall. Niktin shared of how the paps have not been human enough and wrote:

"Such a demise of humanity. Aise samay logon ka tamasha mat banao. How can you be so insensitive to others. Try and understand, what people are going through. I am sure none of my words will make any difference, but one can't just sit and watch this nonsense keep happening."

Sunny Deol's team released a statement and urged everyone not to speculate

When Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, fake reports of his demise circulated. "RIP Dharmendra, end of an era" started trending on social media platforms. Videos from Dharmendra's Juhu home went viral, and the Deol family received over-the-top coverage. They were not given privacy, nor were they allowed to deal with their grief during the toughest time. Sunny Deol's team had to issue a statement to stop speculation and give the family privacy. It read:

"Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you."
