Netizens Are Dissatisfied With Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's 'Naagin' Avatar, 'Ruined Face With Botox'

Ektaa Kapoor's hit supernatural show, Naagin, is all set to return with a new season. While there was a lot of buzz about who might be the lead actress of Naagin 7, the makers have finally revealed the actress's face. It is none other than Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Ektaa Kapoor, the producer of the show, Naagin 7, unveiled the face of the new 'Naagin' on Bigg Boss 19. It’s a comeback for Priyanka, who was a contestant on Bigg Boss 16.

During this Weekend Ka Vaar, Ektaa Kapoor comes to the show, Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan. She assigned a task to the contestants inside the house. After every contestant completed their task assigned by the TV producer, she made the grand reveal. Ektaa announced that she found her new 'Naagin' from Bigg Boss 16, and it is none other than Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Priyanka made an entry and shared how she got the opportunity to play the lead actress in the upcoming season of Naagin. Priyanka was quoted as saying:

"I still remember the moment on Bigg Boss 16 when Ektaa ma’am said she found her next Naagin, and to have her keep that promise and choose me for this legacy is truly an honour. I’ve always believed that some roles demand more than just performance; they test your strength, range, and spirit. Naagin is exactly that for me."

On November 2, 2025, the makers also released a teaser unveiling the first look of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as 'Naagin'. Ektaa Kapoor and Priyanka were also tagged in the post. Sharing the short clip, the makers wrote:

"Kehte hain ki agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho toh puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai….Wo Aa Gai Hai!"

Soon after the first look of Priyanka as 'Naagin' was released on social media, netizens rushed to the comment section. A user wrote, "Ab tak ki sab se bakwas naagin she is looking ajeeb." Another user commented, "Worst costume and jewellery ever!" Another user wrote, "Negative hogi toh season superhit hai lead hogi toh super flop." Calling Mouni Roy, the best Naagin actress, a user wrote, "She is not looking confident, and also she is not good for a Naagin actress. She might be good for other roles, but not this Naagin season. Best Naagin actress @imouniroy."

Another user commented, "Ab tak k sabse ghatiya nagin sara mood he kharab kr diya." Pointing out how Botox changed Priyanka’s look, a user penned, "From a purely neutral POV, this is the worst look of Naagin so far...And I probably shouldn't say this, but she's really ruined her face with Botox.
