Neha Dhupia Breaks Down In The Arms Of Angad Bedi At The Airport After He Shows Her His Gold Medal

Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia have been going through a tough phase as the former's father, Bishan Singh Bedi left for the heavenly abode on October 25, 2023. To give him tribute, Angad took part in the 400-metre race at the Open International Masters 2023 Athletics Championship, which was held in Dubai. The actor bagged a gold medal, and as he returned to India, his wife, Neha Dhupia greeted him and was left super emotional.

On October 30, 2023, Angad returned to India, and his wife, Neha Dhupia greeted him. The moment Neha saw Angad, she hugged him and it seemed like she broke down in the moment. However, she calmed herself down, and Angad showed her the gold medal. Neha looked super happy and she even made him wear the medal.

Angad Bedi dedicated his win to his late father

It took a lot of courage for Angad to take part in the Open International Masters 2023 Athletics Championship, within just five days of his father's death. The actor shared his experience on his IG handle, with a video of the same. Along with it, he penned a note and bared his heart out and revealed how he had no strength and wasn't in form to perform. But somehow, he managed to win. He wrote:

"Didnt have the heart.. didnt have the courage. Body wasnt willing.. Nor was the mind. But an external force from up above made me pull through.. not my best time. Not my best form but some how we did it. This gold medal will always be my most special. Thank you Dad for being with me. I miss you. Your son."

When Neha paid homage to Bishan Singh Bedi at Jio MAMI Film Festival by wearing a black band

Not just Angad, Neha also resumed her work commitments within days of her father-in-law's demise. She hosted the opening night of the Jio MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai. The actress donned a monochrome ensemble. However, she donned a black band on her arms, which was her way of giving tribute to her father-in-law, Bishan Singh Bedi.

For the unversed, Bishan Singh Bedi had undergone multiple surgeries in the last two years, including one on the knee about a month ago. His sudden demise left the entire Bedi family in shock. Bishan Singh Bedi's funeral was attended by several cricket personalities including Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Mohammad Azharuddin, and Kapil Dev. We also spotted actress, Sharmila Tagore paying her homage to him. We also spotted Bishan Singh Bedi's son, Angad Bedi and his daughter-in-law, Neha Dhupia as they bid goodbye to their father.
