The COVID-19 outbreak has become a worse dream for all of us. No one had imagined that life will come to a halt due to a deadly virus that can take away your life. Within a few months, it had travelled across the world. While we all have accepted the 'new normal', the COVID-19 positive cases are increasing every hour. No one knows when we will be free from it. Amidst it, many celebrities have been tested positive for Coronavirus and many have recovered from it. Recently, Bollywood actress, Neetu Kapoor was tested positive for Coronavirus while shooting for her upcoming film. For those who don't know, Neetu Kapoor was in Chandigarh for the shoot of her upcoming film, Jug Jug Jeeyo, which is being directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar. Recently, Raj Mehta and Neetu Kapoor were tested positive for Coronavirus on the sets of the film because of the shoot was put on halt.
Since then, the major concern was how Neetu Kapoor would cope up alone in Chandigarh. According to a report by The Times Of India, Neetu Kapoor had isolated herself in Chandigarh in a separate room. But the latest buzz is that Neetu ji is flying back to Mumbai in an air ambulance. The special arrangement is made by her son, Ranbir Kapoor. It is however not yet known if Ranbir is also flying to Chandigarh to get his mother back.
On November 12, 2020, Neetu ji had taken her first flight for the shooting of a film after Rishi ji's demise. The actress had shared a picture from the runway and had thanked her children, Riddhima and Ranbir for helping her fight this difficult phase. Neetu ji had written, "My first flight, in these scary times !! Nervous for this journey! While Kapoor Sahab, you aren’t here holding my hand, I know you are with me. RnR thank you for encouraging me to do this. #JugJugJiyo. P.S. - We are all Covid tested and safe, hence removed mask while taking picture." After the news of Rishi Kapoor's death came out, his wife, Neetu Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a heartbreaking note on the behalf of her family that could be read as "Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45 am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last. He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents. Family, friends, food and films remained his focus and everyone who met him during this time was amazed at how he did not let his illness get the better of him. He was grateful for the love of his fans that poured in from the world over."

Her note could be further read as "In his passing, they would all understand that he would like to be remembered with a smile and not with tears. In this hour of personal loss, we also recognise the world is going through a very difficult and troubled time. There are numerous restrictions around movement and gathering in public. We would like to request all his fans and well-wishers and friends of the family to please respect the laws that are in force. He would not have it any other way."
