Neetu Kapoor Shares Her Take On Her Son, Ranbir's Marriage, Says It's All About Finding Right Person

Bollywood's one of the most gorgeous veteran actresses, Neetu Kapoor is returning to the big screens with a dhamakedar family drama movie, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, along with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. And currently, she is neck-deep busy promoting her film, and in one such media interaction, the actress opened up about her take on nowadays' children's wedding mindset and talked about her son, Ranbir Kapoor's marriage with Alia Bhatt.

For the unversed, Tinseltown's one of the most loved couples, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had given a major meltdown to all of their fans by tying the knot on April 14, 2022. They had looked absolutely surreal and had complimented each other in Sabyasachi Mukherjee's pristine white-coloured outfits. Ranbir's mom, Neetu Kapoor, was seen enjoying the most.

In an interview with NDTV while promoting Jug Jugg Jeeyo, when Neetu Kapoor was asked what are her thoughts on her children's marriage and whether she feels age is a problem or not, the actress talked about it at length. Reflecting on the same, Neetu shared that it's not about age but finding the right person, and said:

"I think nowadays parents are not like that. You have to let them be, when they are ready to get married they will. When the right time comes, the right person comes. You can't be pushed. Age is not the problem, the problem is the right person. You have to feel comfortable that ok, this is the one, I'm going to spend my life with this person."

Further in the interview, when Neetu was asked with whom she shared the script of Jug Jugg Jeeyo for a second opinion, the actress's reply was prompt. She took her son, Ranbir Kapoor and daughter-in-law, Alia Bhatt's names and mentioned that it's a family thing and they stand by each other.

Well, it's not the first time when Neetu talked about her bahu and lauded Alia with praises. In a recent interview with ETimes, Neetu had revealed that the tension of her son getting married has gone away and now she is quite happy and content that Alia has come into their family. She had said:

"I am the happiest, today. She has given him a lot of love and warmth. I see the change in him. They look good together. I am very happy that Alia has come into our family. So, life has changed and I am very content. Woh tension hota hai na, shaadi nahin hui, shaadi nahi hui. Ab shaadi ho gayi."
