The date, April 14, 2022, will always be called as Ranbir-Alia Day as the most loved couple of B-town had begun their forever journey on this day. The intimate ceremony had taken place at their Mumbai home, Vastu, in the presence of 40 close friends and family.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have marked one year of marital bliss and to mark the special occasion, their family members have penned heart-melting wishes. Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan posted a few glimpses from the doting couple’s wedding in which Ranbir and Alia’s happiness was quite visible.

One of the pictures featured Ranbir and Alia’s phera moment and the guests showering flower petals on them. Along with the pictures, Soni penned:
“On this day last year my sweethearts’s promised to be with each other through thick and thin and through good times and all kinds of times. Happy Anniversary you two. Wishing you both a joyous journey onwards.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni too posted a picture on her IG story and wrote, “Happy 1st anniversary to Raha’s mummy and Daddy.” However, it was Neetu Kapoor’s picture that caught our attention. Taking to her IG stories, Neetu posted a rare unseen picture of Ranbir and Alia doing their wedding rituals and a picture of Ranbir’s father, the late, Rishi Kapoor was placed on the table. The picture became quite special with Rishi’s presence in it. Along with the drool-worthy photo, Neetu wrote:
“Happy anniversary my beautiful people. My heartbeats. Love and blessings.”

From complementing each other perfectly to laughing their hearts out during various rasams, Ranbir and Alia's union was certainly the biggest wedding of the season. For the wedding ceremony, Alia Bhatt had ditched the usual red lehenga and had instead opted for an ivory-hued saree from ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She had paired her attire with a veil and matching jewellery. On the other hand, Ranbir had complemented her in a matching sherwani.
In an interview with Film Companion, Neetu Kapoor opened up about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's intimate wedding. Talking about the same, Neetu had shared that the family had been planning the wedding for two years and Ranbir and Alia had wanted to have a destination wedding in South Africa. However, the duo ended up having a beautiful ceremony at their home.
