Bigg Boss 19: Neelam Giri Talks About Her Ugly Divorce, Said, 'It Was A Wrong Decision To Marry Him'

Bhojpuri actress, Neelam Giri is one of the strong contestants on Bigg Boss 19. Though she has always guarded her personal life and has hardly spoken about it. However, in a recent episode of the show, Neelam was seen opening up about her divorce and the traumatic experience it gave her. This was the first time she spoke about her divorce on the show.

In the recent episode of Bigg Boss, Neelam Giri and Tanya Mittal were seen engaged in a light-hearted conversation, which soon took an emotional turn. As they spoke about Diwali and the preparations at home, Tanya quipped to Neelam about her marriage. Talking about the same, Neelam shared her painful ordeal.

Neelam spoke about her divorce and how her marriage never gave her any happiness to. The actress also stated that the decision was mutual but it still makes her emotional. In her words:

“There was never a moment of happiness in that relationship. It was a wrong decision to marry him. Even thinking about it makes me sad.”

In a previous episode, Neelam Giri spoke about her family’s financial struggles during her growing years. The actress, who mainly works in Bhojpuri cinema, revealed that her father used to cut wood for a living. She also highlighted how he worked hard and the family even struggled to have two meals a day.

An argument in the Bigg Boss 19 house took place between Neelam and Zeishan Quadri. Things became tense when Farrhana came in the middle and took a dig at Neelam. Farrhana's angry remark stunned everyone in the Bigg Boss 19 house, and Neelam couldn't stop crying, shedding tears in the bathroom.

Neelam Giri is an Indian actress, who has worked in a few Bhojpuri films. Born in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, Neelam came into the industry after one of her TikTok videos was noticed by Bhojpuri celebrity, Pawan Singh. She was offered a music video, Dhaniya Hamaar Naya Badi Ho, after which she was seen in many music videos. Her notable works include Babul (2021), Ijjat Ghar (2022), Tun Tun (2022) and Kalakand (2022).
