“What is going on? That was happening a month ago, but I don't want to talk about it. Because all I wanted was that my kids could go to school and they are going now. So, from my side, I am happy. And I want positivity around everyone. I don’t want to talk about those things. The time has passed. Generally, anybody who talks anything about me now or even in the future, I will not react.”

While the feud between Nawazuddin and his estranged wife, Aaliya have been doing the rounds for a long time now, there was once a time when the latter had revealed how she felt trapped inside the actor’s house. Moreover, she also revealed how she could not find out any other accommodation for herself and her kids back then, she was forced to live back in the actor’s Dubai home. In her words:
“My access to the kitchen is banned and I have made the living room sofa, my bed. My friends who send food are not allowed to come in and I am scared to step out, even till the gate to fetch the food. What if doors are closed behind my back? I have known Nawaz for over a decade, I married him when he was not such a popular star. So as his wife, why am I not allowed to live in my own house? Even delivery agents are not allowed in the house, I feel trapped. I don’t have any alternate accommodation. Besides, why should I leave what is rightfully mine?”
With so many news and allegations levied on Nawaz by his wife, Aaliya on the grounds of being negligent and careless about his family, the former had once silenced all such reports by bringing out the truth. Contrary to all the speculated developments about his personal life, he had revealed that he had duly carried out all the financial expenses of both his wife as well as his kids. In his words:
“On an average, she is been paid approx 10 Lakhs per month for past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities. She was given luxurious cars for my kids, but she sold them and spent the money on herself. I have also bought a lavish sea facing apartment in Versova, Mumbai for my children. Aaliya was made the co-owner of the said apartment as my kids are small. I have given my children an apartment in Dubai, where she was also living comfortably."
