“Every house has a specialty and I know something that people love eating at our house – aloo chilka. It’s actually quite cute because we have named certain recipes after people like we have ‘Nani Ma’s khichadi,’ which she makes in a Bengali way. We have ‘Mama Toast’. It’s a sandwich that Nani has invented. You have ‘Navya’s aloo’ because it’s the recipe that I have created. We also have ‘Shweta’s pasta.’ Nana always says, ‘I will eat Shweta’s pasta.'”

Jaya Bachchan further revealed that Amitabh Bachchan has a special fondness for their daughter, Shweta’s pasta. She said that Big B often asks if Shweta is making the pasta, and if they take somebody else's name, the legendary actor asks his daughter to make it for him. In Jaya's words:
“He (Big B) asks, ‘Is Shweta making the pasta?’ If you say ‘no’, he will ask you to tell Shweta to make it.”
Later, Shweta chimed in and jokingly mentioned that Agastya has no dish named after him. To which, Jaya also humorously mentioned that though Abhishek keeps on bragging about his amazing mutton curry, she has never tasted it. In her words:
“Neither does Abhishek. He keeps saying, ‘I make amazing mutton curry,’ but I am yet to see that mutton curry.”
