Smriti Mandhana and her fiancé, Palaash Muchhal's relationship, which had seemed like a fairytale a few days ago, has now more twists and turns than a daily soap. The wedding that was supposed to happen on November 23, 2025, has now been indefinitely postponed, while cheating allegations have been levied against the groom. After the chat between Palash and a woman named Mary D'Costa went viral, the name of a second woman, Nandika Dwivedi, has also been linked to him. Here's what we know about her.

Earlier, rumours were floating around that Mary D'Costa, the woman who first shared the flirty exchange between her and Palaash, was a choreographer at his wedding with Smriti. But Mary made another post clarifying that she is not a dancer. However, rumours were still floating around that Palaash had cheated on Smriti with a choreographer assigned to his wedding. Now, a Reddit thread claims that, apart from Mary, another woman named Nandika is a dancer and was choreographing Palaash for the sangeet. The anonymous Redditor also said that Smriti caught Palaash red-handed with Nandika.

Who is Nandika Dwivedi, whose name has been dragged into the cheating drama around Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana? 

According to several reports, Nandika is a dancer who was reportedly tasked by celebrity choreographer, Bosco with teaching Palaash to dance ahead of his sangeet. Apart from Bosco, she has also worked with other popular names in the dance industry as well. Nandika got the opportunity to work with Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji of Besos fame, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and Shikhar Dhawan. Nandika has also featured as lead dancer in the music video of Tere Piche, by Mansimran.

Smriti's father falling ill on the day of the wedding had derailed the wedding schedule. This was also the starting point of the drama surrounding her wedding to Palaash. Soon after, Smriti reportedly deleted all her Instagram posts related to the wedding. Amid this, Mary D'Costa shared screenshots of flirty messages that she allegedly received from Palaash Muchhal. Initially, it was said that she was a choreographer by profession and was also supposed to teach Palaash and Smriti dance numbers for their wedding. 

Reddit users, who claimed to have inside knowledge of the situation, shared that Palaash was also seen getting cosy with a girl. After Smriti's father came to know about his infidelity, he confronted his to-be-son-in-law. During the quarrel, Shriniwas suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital.

Most people had tried to connect the dots and concluded that Mary must have been the girl with whom Palaash was caught. However, after Mary addressed being misidentified, online sleuths on Reddit have now suggested that not Mary, but a dancer named Nandika, was the one allegedly caught with the groom while getting close to him during choreography sessions. Amid all this, another Reddit user shared screenshots of a message by another anonymous woman who claimed that Palaash had also tried to coerce her into engaging in flirty chatting with him.

Every step of the way, Smriti and Palaash have shared visuals of all their special moments leading up to the wedding. The cricketer took to her Instagram and shared the news about her engagement with a reel dancing to the song, Samjho Ho Hi Gaya from Lage Raho Munna Bhai. The Indian Cricket Team girls danced with her too. Then her fiance, Palaash shared a video with the caption, "She said yes", showing his marriage proposal.
