Shark Tank India 4 is in its second week, and the viewers are amazed by the insights they are getting into the entrepreneurial industry. The show premiered on January 6, 2025, and showcases the most talented entrepreneurs from all over the country as they try to get investment for their businesses. Over the years, the show has become a much-loved business reality television series.

19-year-old founders pitch their education start-up idea on Shark Tank India 4

Shark Tank India 4 has become a genie for entrepreneurs who want to take their businesses to a new height. Recently, the stage saw two 19-year-old founders who had appeared on the show to pitch their education start-up idea to the judges' panel. Dyumna Madan and Shivom Sood brought their business Project Clay to the 'sharks' with an ask for Rs. 15 lakh for 10 per cent of the company, which valued their company at Rs. 1.55 crore. The pitchers revealed that their business model is for college counselling for international institutions.

They added that with their help, pre-existing college seniors would be providing mentorship to students who aspire to study in the same prestigious colleges. The duo shared that they were going for an 'elder sibling' approach with claims that 'near-peer mentorship' was their speciality. Dyumna impressed the judges with her work experience at ed-tech start-ups in Bengaluru. She shared that working for these start-ups helped her realise that she was meant to be in the same industry. Anupam Mittal was very impressed with the founders as he told them it was a 'great pitch'.

Continuing the conversation, the pitchers revealed that they had equal equity in the company and shared that they had previously received a grant of Rs. 2.5 lakh from Ankur Warikoo. Dyumna further added that they received the top 3 per cent of Nikhil Kamath's funding programme and got to a stage where the billionaire gave them a kind of crash course in learning business terminology via some assignments.

Namita Thapar makes an offer to the pitchers

Peyush Bansal acknowledged their brand and efforts and commended them for finding an affordable solution. However, he found certain flaws in the business end of their company. Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, and Anupam Mittal also offered them some feedback but backed off the negotiations.

Namita Thapar, on the other hand, had gone through the hassle of being a part of the college admissions process in international colleges because of her children. She recognised their efforts but pointed out that they must be willing to think before reacting hastily. Namita continued and offered them the exact deal they asked for. At the end of the episode, she was quoted saying:

"If a girl at that age pushes you to think, she’s got something."
