Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were together for almost a decade. Their love story started in 2010 on the sets of their first film together, Ye Maaya Chesave. The couple had two wedding ceremonies — Hindu and Christian in 2017, and pictures of the rituals instantly left everyone in awe. While people thought that nothing could separate Samantha and Chaitanya, in 2021, their fans got the dreaded news of their divorce.
Amidst it, there wasn't a single interview in which Samantha didn't discuss her past life, whether by taking a dig or just spilling facts. She even transformed her wedding day's white gown into a hot black party ensemble, which people call her revenge dress. Well, people can say what they like, but one thing is clear: Samantha was madly in love, so much so that, she wanted to keep Chay with her forever, and so she got a permanent tattoo in an ode to their love.

"You know the one thing I'd tell my younger self is never ever get a tattoo. Never. Never ever. Ever, get a tattoo."
Samantha also talked about how her life changed after divorce and being diagnosed with myositis. She shared that she is in a happy space and is taking care of herself. Samantha shared:
"I'm in a very happy space right now. I know how to take care of myself and focus on what matters. I think I’m in a very good phase in life. I’m genuinely very happy and I feel I’m blessed to have the opportunity to live every day to the fullest and I think that I might not have been so grateful for an ordinary day before. But now I am!"
Well, Samantha's gesture of love was definitely the most beautiful, but their love story didn't have a happy ending.
