Munawar Faruqui is currently basking in the glory of his Bigg Boss 17 win. The standup comedian not only won the prestigious title but also the whopping prize money of INR 50 lakhs and a brand new Hyundai Creta car. While inside the house, Munawar garnered a lot of attention for his multiple affairs with women and was even tagged as a womaniser for the same. The comedian has finally reacted to the allegations and put forth his stance on the matter.
When Munawar started his BB17 journey, he announced in the show that he was in a relationship with his girlfriend, Nazila Sitaishi. However, after wildcard contestant, Ayesha Khan entered the show, she revealed that Munawar and Nazila had broken up after the comedian cheated on the latter with her. She also divulged that Munawar cheated on his first wife, Jasmine, with Nazila and has had multiple affairs with other women despite being in a committed relationship.

The BB17 winner recently sat down for an interview with ETimes where he was asked if he agreed with the labels of womaniser and cheater being attached to his name. To this, Munawar replied that he doesn't agree with these labels and will work on himself and not give audiences any more chances to tag him with such labels. Munawar further added:
"It's not like that. I have collaborated with many women professionally, and they can vouch for how comfortable I made them feel and I treated them with great respect. I am not like what I am made out to be. It's just the one girl that everyone knows about. I don't agree with these labels, and my future actions will certainly disappoint those who are expressing hate."
In the same interview, the comedian was asked if he is scared of commitment and runs away when relationships start to turn serious. To this he added that he is not scared of commitments, but his failed relationships have forced him to self-reflect, and he is currently on the journey of figuring out what is wrong with him. In Munawar's words:
"I am still in the process of figuring it out. It's not that I suffer from this phobia; I am quite focused and sorted in many aspects of my life. However, mentally and in terms of relationships, the past year didn't go well for me. It was probably around that time that I had to enter the Bigg Boss house."

Munawar adds that he should have first sorted out his relationships before entering the house, which he did not and still needs to. He regrets not fulfilling his responsibilities in the relationship and then moving on to another, which ultimately created chaos, but he wants to be a better person and regrets everything he did. In his words:
"I am still in the process of figuring it out. It's not that I suffer from this phobia; I am quite focused and sorted in many aspects of my life. However, mentally and in terms of relationships, the past year didn't go well for me. It was probably around that time that I had to enter the Bigg Boss house."
