Munawar Faruqui rose to fame soon after he won Bigg Boss 17. The comedian won hearts with his quirky one-liners and amazing performance in Salman Khan's show. Recently, a report suggested that Munawar added another feather to his achievements, as he purchased a lavish house.
As per a recent report, Munawar Faruqui has become the owner of an apartment in Mumbai's Wadala, which is situated in a 40-storey building. The stand-up comedian bought this house in exchange for Rs. 6.09 crore, and the deal was finalised in September 2024. If the reports are to go by, Munawar's new home has a space of 1,767 sq ft of built-up area and has three parking lots. The building is currently under construction and is located in Lodha Aura, which offers 3 BHK and 4 BHK apartments. Well, it's not confirmed whether the BB 17 winner would shift to his new apartment with his wife and kids.

Munawar Faruqui got married to the makeup artist, Mehzabeen Coatwala in May 2024. While the duo kept their relationship and wedding low-key, a hoarding from their intimate reception party surfaced online, which confirmed the buzz about the comedian's second marriage. For the unversed, Mehzabeen was earlier married and she has a baby girl. On the other hand, Munawar was also earlier married to Jasmine, and they have a baby boy.
As per a report by Times Now, Munawar and Mehzabeen met for professional purposes, and within a few days, they started forming a mutual liking for one another, followed by them falling in love. The couple got married in a hush-hush wedding ceremony with only 100 guests as attendees. As of now, the couple has made their wedding official, and they often send us into a collective meltdown with their mushy photos and top-notch family moments.
Munawar Faruqui began his journey as a stand-up comedian. His professional ventures include reality TV shows, stand-up comedy, and music. Back in 2022, he won Lock Upp 1, and in 2023, he emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 17. When he became the Bigg Boss 17 winner, he got Rs. 50 lakh winning prize, which excluded the participation fee, which was Rs. 7-8 lakh per week. On the other hand, he earns Rs. 1.5-2.5 lakh for each of his stand-up comedy shows. Talking about Munawar's net worth, it was reported to be around Rs. 8-10 crore.
