After her marriage to Dattaraj Salgaoncar, Dipti joined her husband in his multiple business ventures. One of them is the Goa Centre for Arts, Sunaparanta, which is a preservation centre built by Dattaraj in order to preserve the art and culture of Goa. Currently, Dipti serves as the Vice-chairperson and a member of the advisory board of Sunaparanta.

Talking about her personal life, Dipti Salgaoncar is married to Dattaraj Salgaoncar, who is the son of late business tycoon, Vasudev Salgaoncar. For the uninitiated, Salgaoncars and Ambanis used to live in the same skyscraper, Usha Kiran, which is located on Carmichael Road. While Salgaoncars used to live on the 14th floor, Ambanis resided on the 22nd floor. Both the families were in touch with each other, and when Vasudev Salgaoncar passed away, it was Dhirubhai Ambani, who guided a young Dattaraj in their family business. This laid the foundation for a strong bond between the Ambanis and Salgaoncars, which later turned into family relations.

Mukesh Ambani and Dattaraj Salgaoncar were childhood friends, and the latter was also in contact with Dipti Salgaoncar, right from an early age. From playing to growing up together, Dattaraj and Dipti dated each other for five years and got married on December 31, 1983. The couple is blessed with two kids, Vikram Salgaoncar and Isheta Salgaoncar. While Isheta is the Vice President of Corporate Development at the VM Salgaoncar Corporation, Vikram is the Director of VM Salgaoncar Hotels and Resorts Private Limited. As of now, while Dattaraj is the owner and managing director of the V.M. Salgaoncar Group, Dipti is taking care of the Goa Centre for Arts, Sunaparanta. Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani's younger sister, Nina Kothari is the owner of a nationwide chain of coffee and food cafes that goes by the name, Javagreen. Apart from this, she holds a directorship at the H C Kothari Group of Companies. For the unversed, Nina got married to the business tycoon, Bhadrashyam Kothari in 1986, and they welcomed two kids, Arjun and Nayantara, in the following years. However, it was on February 22, 2015, when Bhadrashyam passed away, and his wife, Nina, stepped up and took care of the company. She became the chairperson of Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited on April 8, 2015, and has taken the company to a completely different level.
Since taking charge of the conglomerate, Nina Kothari has also added two new companies under it, Kothari Safe Deposits Limited and Kothari Petrochemicals Limited. As of now, Kothari Limited is worth Rs. 435 crores. Courtesy of her business acumen, Nina has an estimated net worth of Rs. 52.4 crore. The doting mother has also introduced her son, Arjun B Kothari to the family business. He is the non-independent executive director of Kothari Petrochemicals Limited. Nina's daughter, Nayantara is married to Shamit Bhatia, whose father, Shyam Sunder Bhatia is the founder of the Jubilant Bhartia group.
