For instance, now, the father-son duo, Mukesh and Akash visited the Somnath temple to perform the Mahashivratri rituals with utmost grace. Moreover, they also made a hefty donation to the temple trust.

On February 18, 2023, when the entire nation is celebrating the auspicious festival of Mahashivratri, Mukesh Ambani and his elder son, Akash Ambani were also spotted offering prayers to Lord Shiva. In a few glimpses shared by a paparazzi page, Mukesh Ambani and his elder son, Akash Ambani were spotted performing Mahashivratri puja at the Somnath Temple in Gujarat. They were seen doing Abhishek and performing all the rituals of Mahashivratri. As per reports, the father-son duo was welcomed by the Chairman of the temple trust, Shri P.K. Lahiri and Secretary, Shri Yogendrabhai Desai. Not only that, Mukesh and Akash were offered sandal paste and stole as a mark of respect.

Mukesh Ambani and Akash Ambani's huge donation of Rs. 1.51 crores on Mahashivratri

For the event, Mukesh wore a cream-hued silk kurta, whereas his son, Akash looked handsome in a sky-blue-hued kurta. As per multiple reports, they have also made a huge amount of donations to the Somnath temple trust to mark the auspicious occasion. If reports are to be believed, they donated Rs. 1.51 crores on this holy day of Mahashivratri.

When Akash Ambani and his wife, Shloka Ambani offered prayers at Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara

Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, Akash Ambani launched Jio 5G WiFi services in the temple town of Nathdwara, in Rajasthan, on October 22, 2022. However, before the special day, Akash and his darling wife, Shloka visited the Shrinathji temple in Rajasthan to seek blessings. They also wore orange-hued chadars above their ensembles while offering prayers. Afterwards, Akash launched the services and gave a beautiful speech with utmost modesty.

When Mukesh Ambani stepped down from Reliance Jio, and Akash became the Chairman

On June 27, 2022, Reliance Jio company's board announced the appointment of Akash Ambani as the Chairman at a meeting followed by an official announcement to the world. In other positions, Pankaj Mohan Pawar will work as the company's Managing Director, while Raminder Singh Gujral and KV Chowdary will work as independent directors. In a regulatory filing, it was mentioned that Akash became the Chairman of the company's board of directors. And this was followed by his daddy, Mukesh's stepping down from Reliance Jio.
