Mrunal Thakur is one of the most talented actresses of her generation. She has swooned her millions of fans with her acting prowess and simplicity. Moreover, Mrunal is loved for her straightforward behaviour as she never hesitates about opening up on matters surrounding her. However, just like any other celebrity, she too, at times comes under the media scrutiny. Recently, she raised her dating speculations with one-year younger actor, Siddhant Chaturvedi as they were spotted hanging out in an eatery in Mumbai.
On May 12, 2024, Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi were spotted together at a food joint in Bandra, Mumbai. They were seen exiting the place together. Thus, while seeing off one another, Mrunal can be seen giving a tight hug to Siddhant. Afterwards, the actor also held her hands and helped her climb down the stairs. For the outing, Mrunal opted for a blue corset top paired with black pants, and kept her look absolutely minimal. On the other hand, Sidhdhant looked handsome in a pink t-shirt teamed with black pants.

Earlier, a source revealed to the Hindustan Times that Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi are to begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's musical in Mumbai. Although the film is yet to be titled but, it’s a romance drama set in a contemporary world. Moreover, as per multiple reports, the musical will be backed by some soulful compositions. The source shared:
“Mrunal and Siddhant will start shooting for the first schedule of the film in Mumbai next week. The actors have been taking workshops with director Ravi Udyawar since the first week of April as a part of their prep. Both the actors have put in a lot of work in their preparations for their characters as they play musicians in the film. Bhansali aims to finish the shoot of this film first before he jumps on to his next directorial, Love and War, which has actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead.”
In an earlier interview, Siddhant was heard praising Mrunal's work in her film, Super 30 and Sita Ramam. Mrunal, who was also present in the same interview, revealed that Siddhant and she once had a call for the longest amount of time. Mrunal mentioned that they discussed cinema for over 45 minutes, and Siddhant was unable to stop praising her previous performances.

Every now and then, several glimpses also keep igniting the dating rumours between Siddhant and Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. It all began when Navya dropped a photo from her Rishikesh vacation, and a similar background was also seen in one of Siddhant's posts, which left people believing that the duo was together on a vacation. Following this, in June 2023, the rumoured couple was also spotted outside of a multiplex as they seemingly went out on a movie date. In several photos and videos that went viral, the duo could be seen walking with one another. However, Siddhant was seen hiding his face by using a face mask.
