A mother's bond with their child is considered to be one of the purest connections. However, with social media at an all-time high, people have started bending boundaries. Now, a video has surfaced on the internet, which has created a wave of backlash among netizens. 

A mother and son's sensual dance video creates backlash

A video was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit, which featured a dance video of a mother and son. The mother, dressed in a lavender top and blue denim pants, could be seen dancing with her son, who donned a purple t-shirt and blue shorts. However, how the son grabbed and pulled his mother created concern about where the times were headed. 

The Reddit account shared the post, urging netizens to report and avoid such content. However, this is not the only inappropriate video posted on the creator's account. The video was shared with the original poster, questioning what trend is going on and why it is being normalised. The user penned:

"What is this trend going on? First that santoormom Rachna and this mother with her son. Why they want to normalize this kind of act? I have reported this account, please do the same."

Netizens react to the viral post

The way the son was grabbing his mother and picking her up raised concerns among netizens. Users were not happy with the way the social media trends were impacting the bonds that were meant to be pure and respectful. A user wrote, "Mentally sick individuals can never be fixed." Another penned, "And my mom is asking me to be not complacent and work more. Inki priorities hi alag hai !! Also, I'm sick of these parents who use their kids as CONTENT." A commenter pointed out, "I just can't believe they are mother-son; please don't ruin this bond plz!! It's so sacred and pure, but here it's gross eww."

Reddit users were not happy about the way the video portrayed the mother and son bond. A user penned, "There are so many accounts like this, These people make such videos that the viewer will definitely find wrong. After making such disgusting videos, they label them as 'Mom-Son'. These people are just ruining the sacred bond between a mother and son just for the sake of some money, so called L generation." Another user questioned if boys being involved in such activities ever grow up to be respectful men and stated, "Psychologically, do these boys grow up respecting women?"

Another Redditor's comment read, "Even the mom in the video is getting uncomfortable when her son holds her tightly, but she keeps dancing for likes, and some people in comments already blaming the kiddo, blame his mother." A user penned, "It's not a trend. It’s a disease." A user, in a long note, wrote:

"Why don't people file cases against THESE PEOPLE??!!! She’s also a mother WHO IS DOING THIS IN REAL TIME Ranveer made a hypothetical statement and asked a question around it. This is so disgusting."
