One of the most popular sitcoms, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been constantly dominating all the headlines with a lot of accusations against the show’s producer, Asit Modi, operations head, Sohail Ramani, and executive producer, Jatin Bajaj. The controversies started as soon as Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala, who used to play one of the leading roles in the show, made a startling revelation and accused Asit Modi of sexual harassment. Not only this, another important actor in the sitcom, Monika Bhadoriya, who used to play the role of 'Bawri' in the show, accused the producer of mental torture. Now in a recent interview with News 18, she again made some shocking revelations against the popular show's producer.
In a recent interview with News 18, Monika Bhadoriya revealed that her co-star, Munmun Dutta, who was reportedly missing from the show for a few months last year, too received ill treatment from Asit Modi. While talking about the same, Monika shared that her co-star Munmun must have been tortured to such a point that she decided not to come to the set for several days. She stated that such a thing happened to a lot of people who work on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Monika shared the same thing that happened with Munmun too, who had a lot of fights with Asit Modi. Talking about the same, she shared:
"Munmun hasn’t left the show but she must be tortured and therefore she must not have come to the sets for a long time...When they torture a lot, people decide that they cannot comeback to work but then they call back and try to make things better. A lot of fights have happened with her (Munmun Dutta) too. She has also left the sets several times after arguments. She has not come to sets then for several days."

Further in the interview, Monika Bhadoriya revealed that female actors on the set of the popular sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah do not receive respect. Monika revealed that on the sets, the female actors are asked to stay back even if they are done with their shots. She shared that the team let male actors do their shots first. Elaborating on the same, Monika Bhadoriya stated:
"They do not value females. If a female actor is done with her shoot, they ask them to stay back. They try to finish male actor’s shoot first. Come what may, they do not value females there."
In the same interview, Monika Bhadoriya then revealed that male and female actors on the set are not given equal pay. She shared that female actors receive less payment than male actors, and the female actors are even abused there. For the unversed, Monika earlier, in an old interview with Hindustan Times, revealed that she only received a payment of Rs. 30,000 per month while working with Asit Modi on his show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, elaborating on the same, in her recent interview, she shared that:
"Males are paid more. They pay us very less in comparison to male actors even if the screen time for both actors is same. They abuse females there. What else can you expect? I can never tell you what all they say. I can never use such dirty language."

In the same interview with News 18, Monika Bhadoriya shared that the producer of the show, Asit Modi is misguided by his new team. Talking about the same, she shared that Asit doesn't know a lot of things, which is why he misunderstands things and starts behaving rudely with everyone. Monika said:
"Asit Modi’s team has been changed. His new team misguides him. He does not get to know the whole thing. Therefore, he listens something, understands something else and then mistreats people. He talks very badly with everyone."
