Monalisa's Husband Claims She Threatened To Commit Suicide If He Didn't Marry Her, 'Karna Pada..'

Monalisa Bhosle gained overnight fame in 2025 after participating in the Maha Kumbh Mela held in Prayagraj. Monalisa has now married her boyfriend, Farman Khan, in a temple located in Kerala. Now, Monalisa's husband, Farman, has given the first interview to the press and revealed why he married her. He alleged that she threatened to take her life and he was left with no choice but to marry her. The couple had got married at the Arumanoor temple located in Thiruvananthapuram.

Monalisa had approached the Kerala Police to seek protection, and now, Farman, in his first interview with the media after marrying Monalisa, revealed why he married her. He alleged that she threatened suicide if he did not marry her and said that her family was planning for her marriage. Monalisa also confessed in the pap interaction that she had told Farman that if he did not marry her, then she would commit suicide. Monalisa had earlier alleged that her dad was trying to forcibly take her back to her hometown and get her married to someone else. She was at that time in the capital of Kerala, completing the shooting of a movie. In his words:

"Doh teen din mei shadi honei wali thi and waha mehman guest bhi aaye huei thei gharpe shadi ke liye. Esliye Monalisa ne bola shadi karo, otherwise kuch galat hoh sakta hai mere saath, hoh jaega. Zabardasti karta hai, family. Maine socha kisi ke zindagi se badhke nai hai."

How did Monalisa Bhosle and Farman Khan meet?

For the unversed, Farman is a native of Uttar Pradesh and an actor and model from Maharashtra. According to varied reports on social media, Farman and Monalisa had met via Facebook, and slowly their friendship had bloomed into a romantic relationship. Farman and Monalisa are planning to settle in Kerala as they have found acceptance there. Farman claimed that Monalisa had proposed to him first and he had turned down the offer. However, later he had agreed to date her and reportedly both of them met during the muharat ceremony of a Malayalam movie named, Ngamma. It was directed by P. Binu Varghese. Farman plays the role of a villain while Monalisa plays the role of a heroine in the movie.

Monalisa Bhonsle and Farman Khan's marriage took place despite resistance from both families. The pictures from their wedding that went viral on social media showcased Monalisa sitting in a red saree with sindoor, while Farman had worn a white dhoti kurta. Their wedding ceremony got attention from their fans. Monalisa had addressed the media in Thiruvanthapuram and claimed that she decided to marry Farman. She faced hesitation from her parents, who wanted her to marry her own aunt's son, and she did not like the match. Hence, she married Farman. Monalisa's father did not attend their wedding ceremony and has been upset with her. A police officer told PTI:

"She insisted that she won't go with her father and made it clear that she is going to marry her boyfriend. As she is a major, she can act according to her choice."

The police officer also added that Monalisa had insisted that she would not go with her father and made it clear that she plans to marry her boyfriend. As a major, Monalisa was entitled to make decisions related to her life. The officer revealed that she had the full right to decide whom she wanted to spend her life with.
