Mona then explained how she took this as a New Year resolution, and soon started following a healthy lifestyle. She further mentioned that as soon as she started watching the results, she got so motivated that she kept working as per her yoga trainer. She said:
"The minute I started seeing results, I was like 'Wow, this is addictive'. Now let's just stick to it and wear the clothes I always wanted to and look the way I wanted to. It's the times when one needs to eat right and excercise to have clarity. My yoga teacher told me, 'Joh ek baar khaate hai din mein woh yogi hoti hai, joh 2 baar khaate hai woh bhogi hote hai aur joh 3 baar khaate hai woh rogi hote hai.' Mujhe rogi nahi banna tha."
In the same conversation, Mona urged people to slow down and take care of their lifestyle, especially mentioning the different effects of them on life. Afterwards, she also talked about the importance of meditation and sound sleep in anyone's life. In Mona's words:
"It's important, not just being an actor, but, the kind of lifestyle we have is terrible. Now we don't sleep at 9:30 pm. Especially in a city like Mumbai, everyone is restless and overworked, stressed. It's important to have time for yourself, have slower mornings, meditate. It's very important and you approach every thing with ease which is important. Otherwise hum itna hyper and restless rehte hai, late ho rahe hote hai. It's not good for us. It's good to slow down."

At the end of the conversation, Mona explained that now that she could fight with her laziness and achieve this ideal figure, she is super proud of herself. She revealed that she always wanted to achieve this kind of fit body. Finally, she concluded by saying:
"I always wanted to look a certain way but not able to achieve that because of my laziness. You have to work hard, wake up on lazy mornings because your other side of the brain will tell you 'chhodo na, so jaate hai. I feel happy and proud of my achievement. It's not difficult to lose weight, but it's difficult to maintain it. But now, it's been a year since I've been able to maintain it. I still get scared when we go on holidays as I would end up cheating on my diet. But my yoga teacher tells me to not overeat or overdo it. 'Khaao par paet bharke mat khaao,' so that's what I follow."
