'Saiyaara' Director, Mohit Suri Reveals, Ahaan Panday Couldn't Stop Crying, 'Main Acting Nahi Kar..'

It has been almost a month since Saiyaara released in theatres, but the fans and media are still not over it. Social media platforms are still filled with reels of scenes from the film. When the film was released, it wasn't just about the music or the story, it was all about the raw and natural emotions that the audience could connect with. Amid the Saiyaara craze, Mohit Suri has revealed that in one scene, he had to stop Ahaan Panday from crying. 

Mohit Suri’s reveals Ahaan Panday’s emotional outburst on set

Recently, the director of Saiyaara, Mohit Suri sat down for a candid conversation with Red FM and revealed that, while shooting the film, there were a few scenes in which Ahaan Panday struggled to control his emotions. Mohit Suri recalled that sometimes he had to tell him to stop crying, to which Ahaan used to say that he can't control his emotions and is actually crying. Mohit Suri shared:

"Mujhe sometimes bolna padha isko mat ro yaar itna tu yeh scene mein. He said mujhko bohot bura lag raha hai yaar, sir I'm feeling very bad she's saying this. I said tu acting nahi kar raha? He said nahi, main acting nahi kar raha hun. I said itna mat ro."

In the same candid conversation, Mohit Suri explained love in today’s generation and said that youngsters today don’t meet someone, who can open up their heart and commit for a lifetime. Mohit Suri explained that the reason Ahaan couldn’t control his emotions is because the idea of love has changed for youngsters, right now its only situationship and benching. In his words:

"But I just think maybe they've not met someone who opened up, in this generation they haven't met people who opened up their heart and make these promises jo commitment life bhar ki hoti hai, ki no matter what I'm not going to leave you, I'm going to stand by you, chahe ek ladki yeh ladke ko bole ya ek ladka ek ladki ko bole. I think these were just things that were moving them."
