Mohit Raina is one of the most talented stars in the film industry. He gained massive recognition through his portrayal of Lord Shiva in the hit serial, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. The handsome hunk then went on to become a part of some enticing shows and films, including Uri: The Surgical Strike, Shiddat, Bhaukaal, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 and others. And now, in a recent interaction, Mohit recalled sharing the most tragic and momentous occasions in his life together.
In a recent interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Mohit Raina opened up about one of the strangest moments in his life, where both something happy and tragic happened in his life at the same time. Calling himself a firm believer of Lord Shiva, Mohit recalled the day when he bagged his role of playing Lord Shiva, coincided with the exact day when he lost his father. He mentioned:

“I have never said this but my father was a firm believer in Lord Shiva. So, I think this role was a gift from my father to me. Because the day I got the confirmation that I am playing Lord Shiva that was the day I lost my father. So, I feel it was his gift for me because it can’t be a coincidence. I wanted to give my best to the show as I thought it was a gift from him.”

In one of his earlier interviews with the Indian Express, Mohit Raina spoke about his decision to leap from television to cinema, and had revealed whether he was content with the same. The actor had mentioned that he moved to Mumbai not because of his desire for money and fame since he never had them and did not bother to think about it either. Recalling his decision just to fulfil his creative needs, Mohit had said:
“When I came to Mumbai, I was never driven by money or fame ever. I didn’t know about these things, so I had nothing to lose. I only wanted to fulfil my creative needs. I was in a relationship with the camera and it did not bother me which medium it belonged to. I have no regrets and God has been kind with the kind of opportunities I got in my career.”
For the unversed, Mohit Raina is happily married to the love of his life, Aditi Chandra Raina, and the duo is blessed with a daughter. The dashing actor has always deemed to keep his personal life out of the media glare, and so, even his wedding news came as a sweet surprise to his fans. In one of his earlier interactions with Sidharth Kannan, Mohit had shared unheard tidbits from his initial years of dating his now-wife, Aditi, and mentioned that he was the one who pushed things in their relationship.

Taking to his Facebook account on June 25, 2023, Mohit Raina had shared the first-ever glimpse of his baby girl, as she wished her on her first monsoon. The doting daddy was seen holding his daughter in his arms, while his daughter looked cute, wrapped in a white printed swaddle. Calling her his princess, Mohit wrote:
“Happy First monsoon my child. #sundaydiaries #firstmonsoonshowers #bestfeeling #gratefulheart #tuhaintosabkuchhain."
