Every first after the wedding is a special one for the couples, be it first birthdays, first festivals, first anniversary or first vacation. Since Mohena Kumari Singh and Suyesh Rawat will soon be completing one year of marital bliss, they have already celebrated a lot of firsts in their first year of marriage. Similar to Hariyali Teej and Karwa Chauth, Hartalika Teej is celebrated by married women, who offer their prayers for the long life of their husbands. The real-life princess of Rewa and choreographer-cum-dancer-turned-actress, Mohena Kumari Singh had tied the knot with Suyesh Rawat in a grand wedding ceremony on October 14, 2019, and more than two lakh guests were present to bless the couple. In November 2019, Mohena had posted a few unseen pictures with Suyesh from their sangeet ceremony and had captioned them as "It’s been a month! And it’s been magical. @suyeshrawat."

To mark the Hartalika Teej on August 21, 2020, Mohena Kumari Singh posted a solo picture of herself, as she geared up for the festival. Dressed in a black-coloured floor-length anarkali paired with red dupatta, Mohena was all-smiles for the picture as she happily geared up for her first Teej. Mohena captioned her post as “Gearing up for my 1st Teej Happy Teej to all.” Mohena also shared her wedding film, which comprises of some beautiful moments of her life. Mohena tagged her husband, Suyesh Rawat and wrote, “Sharing some of the most beautiful moments in my life. Our Wedding. @suyeshrawat.”

On August 15, 2020, Suyesh Rawat had celebrated his first birthday post-wedding with his wife, Mohena Kumari Singh. And Mohena was was so busy spending 'real time' with him to make his first birthday special that she had wished him on social media a day later. Mohena had posted a black-and-white picture with Suyesh from their wedding and had captioned it as "You are my blessing @suyeshrawat Hope your first birthday with me was special and I did not trouble you too much. Even Mohena Kumari Singh had celebrated her first birthday with Suyesh Rawat post-wedding on July 18, 2020, and she had posted a picture from the celebrations. While Mohena had looked gorgeous as ever in a magenta-coloured saree, Suyesh had opted for a printed kurta to celebrate his wife’s birthday. In the birthday special candid picture, Suyesh could be seen applying cake on Mohena’s face with a spoon and she had captioned the post with a cake and a heart emoji.

Mohena Kumari Singh, Suyesh Rawat and his parents had tested positive for the novel virus in June 2019. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mohena had revealed how they had kept their spirits high in the isolating situation, which had made them feel low. She was quoted as saying, “We used to just peak from our doors and just ask each other if we are fine. It was not to break rules or anything. You get low, you are going to get low at some point, everybody will get into depression zone, but you have identified that. What happens with depression is that it is like the black hole which sucks you in. It is your prerogative to get out of it. You can only do it by realizing you are getting sucked." Revealing that she had taken positive energy from her husband, Suyesh, Mohena had continued, “On the 9th or 10th day, it was getting too much. What really helped was my husband.
