The real-life princess of Rewa and choreographer-cum-dancer-turned-actress, Mohena Kumari Singh beautifully explains the importance of family on the completion of three months of her married life. Looks like just yesterday when we had gotten the glimpse of Mohena Kumari Singh as a royal bride, dressed in a traditional Rajputana poshak with pallu drawn over her head, small bindi, matha patti and borla (maang teeka), traditional jadau nath and all-red chooda. Mohena had entered into the bond of holy matrimony on October 14, 2019, with her prince charming, Suyesh Rawat. Though three months had passed by, we still are in awe of how lovely Mohena and Suyesh had looked at their #SuMoKiShaadi.

After her grand October wedding, Mohena Kumari Singh’s vidaai ceremony too, was a royal affair and she, along with hubby, Suyesh Rawat was bestowed with garlands and flowers as she had bid adieu to her hometown, Rewa. On November 10, 2019, Mohena had left her parents’ house to start her ‘happily ever after’ journey with husband and in-laws. Dressed in a Rajputana yellow attire, Mohena had exuded royalty while her hubby, Suyesh too, looked like a king in an orange-coloured sherwani. On January 14, 2020, Mohena Kumari Singh and Suyesh Rawat completed three months of blissful married life and to mark the same, the former treated her fans with unseen pictures from her wedding. Sharing a frame-worthy picture with Suyesh, Mohena wrote, “We completed 3 months yesterday... and the universe gave us such a special gift. Posting a picture-perfect family portrait with her clan, in-laws and Suyesh Rawat, Mohena Kumari Singh penned down the importance of family in her caption. Mohena wrote, “In today’s day and age people are losing the importance and respect for family. But We still believe there is strength in togetherness. In Family there is strength that all the power in the world cannot undo. Ever since Mohena Kumari Singh’s wedding, fans were waiting to know how the ‘Mrs’ life has been treating her and to everyone’s delight, the real-life princess finally opened up about her married life with Suyesh Rawat and much more in an interview with The Times Of India. Mohena had begun with how she has been enjoying her daily routine post-wedding in Dehradun and had stated, “It’s so refreshing to let new things happen. I am dressing up, eating a lot of food and doing pujas. The food in my new home in Dehradun is just amazing. My in-laws eat good homemade spicy food. And I have been eating a lot spicier and yummier food at my new abode, meeting new family members, relatives and friends. It’s like a break for me and it just feels so good.”
It has been a few years now since Mohena Kumari Singh had made her debut as a dancer and then explored the acting world. And after spending so many years in the entertainment industry, Mohena’s life changed post her wedding and she believes that it changed for good. Mohena had continued, “My life has changed a lot and so has my lifestyle. Every morning, I start my day by getting ready, dressing up like a new bride, applying sindoor and wearing bangles. I have always dreamt of doing these things. And the funny part is, I had already learnt a lot about this while doing Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. I got lessons on the set itself where I would dress up in ethnic outfits for the show. It’s like creating a magical world out of reality!”
Throwing some light on her future plans and when are they planning to go on a honeymoon, Mohena Kumari Singh had stated, “As of now, I am going with the flow and enjoying my new married life. No plans for the near future, I am just enjoying my time and I want to keep it that way. I am going to travel – there are lot of places that I am going to visit. But honeymoon is bit delayed and we will go next year.
