In a candid conversation with WedMeGood, the bride opened up about her inspiration to do her own makeup. She shared that she was confident for the same, since she used to do her makeup during her beauty contests or when she used to attend other's weddings. She shared:
“I did my own make up for my wedding. I was a contestant at Miss World and Miss Universe pageant. I would always wear make up for most of the events I attended, so for my wedding I wanted a change and I chose to wear less make up. And I'm very happy about the outcome. I was told it is a bold decision. But I was confident enough to do it myself. I believe that every bride should be able to choose how they want to look on their big day. I encourage women to be bold, confident and do not be afraid to make choices. Believe in yourself! You are strong and powerful. You can do anything!”
Sheetal hails from Mauritius, and the man of her dreams, Harsh Aseeja is Indian. Together, they are settled in Seattle, Washington. However, one look at their wedding diaries would give glimpses of the duo's surreal wedding as per Hindu traditions. For the wedding, her then-groom-now-husband, Harsh complemented his then-bride-now-wife by donning a matching coloured silk sherwani. He paired it with a matching doshala and a turban. Altogether, they looked picture-perfect for the evening.
