The 74th session of the world’s biggest beauty pageant, Miss Universe, was held in Thailand, and it brought 121 delegates under the same theme, 'The Power of Love'. It was Mexico's Fatima Bosch who became the owner of the title, 'Miss Universe', bagging the crown, which reportedly has a budget of USD 5 million. While people have been celebrating her win, a certain section of viewers remained worried about Miss Jamaica, Gabrielle Henry's health.
For the unversed, during the preliminary evening gown round in Thailand, Gabrielle fell off the stage and was hospitalised. While initially it was revealed that Gabrielle didn't sustain any serious injuries, a recent update about her health has raised concerns among her well-wishers. Miss Jamaica remains admitted to Thailand’s Paolo Rangsit Hospital for emergency evaluation.

If the reports are to be believed, Henry's sister, Dr Phylicia Henry-Samuels, is currently with her and their mother in Thailand. As per Dr Phylicia Henry-Samuels, Gabrielle Henry isn't doing well as everyone has been hoping for. According to the doctor, she will have to stay in the ICU for the next seven days. As per Dr Phylicia Henry-Samuels:
"Gabby isn’t doing as well as we would have hoped, but the hospital continues to treat her accordingly. Henry will be required to remain in the intensive care unit (ICU) for a minimum of seven days as doctors continue their close monitoring and specialised care."

Earlier, the owner of Miss Universe, Raul Rocha, had shared that Gabrielle Henry had 'no broken bones' following her fall off the stage, and she was under 'good care', while the Miss Universe Jamaica organisation confirmed that she didn't sustain any threatening injuries. On the other hand, recently, they released another update, wherein they asked people not to spread false information regarding Gabrielle's health, as it might cause unnecessary tension in her family during this sensitive time.

It was three days back, when Gabrielle Henry had a fall off the stage during the preliminary evening gown round. She donned a sparkly orange gown and was strutting down the stage when she missed a step and completely fell off. The attendees who were present dropped a clip and shared the same on social media, which grabbed a whole lot of flak from the netizens, with some of them worrying about Gabrielle's health, while others slammed the organisers for a lack of stage safety.

The organisers were asked for a fair evaluation of Gabrielle's skills as she was one of the strongest contestants of the pageant. Earlier, it was revealed that Gabrielle might return to the stage for the finale, as it was reported that she didn't sustain any serious injury or break any bones, but she couldn't be a part of the finale, leading Fatima Bosch to win the 74th session of the world’s biggest beauty pageant. For the unversed, 28-year-old Gabrielle is an ophthalmologist and an advocate for the visually impaired through her foundation. For the unversed, Gabrielle was crowned as Miss Universe Jamaica in 2025 and was competing for the main event in Thailand.
