It is rightly said that times flies in a jiffy and babies grow up so fast that we secretly wish for time to pause so that we can live every moment with them to the fullest. Seems like just yesterday when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken their little angel home, wrapped in a floral blanket. The glimpse of baby Kapoor had made the wait for her first picture even harder but thanks to daddy Shahid, that six months later, he had finally introduced his little princess to the world. Since August 26, 2016, Shahid and Mira’s social media handles have been flooded with pictures of Misha, and we can’t believe that the little one is growing up way too fast.

Last year, on August 26, 2018, when Misha Kapoor had turned two years old, her celeb parents, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had posted lovely wishes for her. Mommy Mira had posted a sun-kissed photo of Misha sitting on the porch in a white frock, and had captioned it, “Happy Birthday to the light of our lives #blessed.” Daddy Shahid, on the other hand, had thanked everyone for the birthday wishes for Misha by sharing a picture of her, and had written, “Thank you all for the birthday wishes.” (Also Read: Sameera Reddy's Husband, Akshai Varde Is The Daddy Cool Of Tinseltown, Plays Guitar For His Girl)
Soon after Misha Kapoor’s birth, Shahid Kapoor had expressed his feelings upon holding his baby girl for the first time in his arms. In an interview, Shahid had said, "I was both ecstatic and scared. I began thinking of Mira's father and how he must have felt when he gave away his baby, his daughter to this strange guy, an actor from Mumbai with a ponytail and coloured hair, who perhaps thought he was a 'cool dude'. I called him up instantly and apologised if I had troubled him at any point. I may have overlooked his point of view somewhere, regarding something which may have been important to him, this realisation came when I held a baby girl in my hands when I felt vulnerable. I don't want anything to go wrong with her ever. I guess, being a man I always thought of as a man. But holding a baby girl gave me a new perspective. It changes everything."
Speaking about how he is a hands-on daddy, Shahid Kapoor had elaborated, “I am always trying to entertain Misha and I am down on my hands and knees all the time. I think I have become goofier after having my baby. I am doing more stupid things. I am trying to get her attention all the time. Just like a puppy who jumps around to get your attention. I also like being home more now. That is one of the biggest changes in me. That’s not something I used to like doing before. I was not a morning person. But because Misha wakes up early, I also try and get up by that time to be with her. This was not me. I would always spend like 20 minutes after waking up to get up. Getting my coffee, reading the papers and then being grumpy for some time, going for a shower and then waking up. Now, that’s not the case. I am wide awake. So yeah, it brought about many changes.”
Mira Rajput Kapoor too, often shares pictures with her angel, Misha Kapoor, on her Instagram. From their girls-only lunch date's pouty selfie to how she bribes the little one to pose for a picture, Mira frequently treats her fans with sneak peeks of their family life. When Mira was pregnant with Zain and Shahid was busy with the shoot of his film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, the doting mommy had posted an all-huggie picture with Misha. Teasing Shahid with the picture, Mira had captioned it, “Yes we miss you @shahidkapoor but I’m loving the extra hugs all for myself!”
In September 2018, Misha Kapoor got promoted to ‘big sister’ when her baby brother, Zain Kapoor arrived in this world. In an interview after Zain’s birth, Shahid Kapoor’s mother, Neliima Azeem had revealed how ‘big sister’ Misha had reacted to the arrival of her little sibling. Neliima ji had stated, "It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her. Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there.. she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely. All the credit goes to Mira and Shahid." (Also Read: Jay Bhanushali Narrates His Experience Of How People Still Don't Celebrate The Birth Of A Girl Child)
