Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, are one of the power couples of the glamour world. In 2016, Mira embraced motherhood for the first time with the arrival of her ‘sunshine’, Misha Kapoor. Two years later, in 2018, her then-two-year-old became an elder sister to her baby brother, Zain.
As Misha turned eight on August 26, 2024, Mira Rajput took to her IG handle and penned a heartfelt note to wish her darling girl. The first two pictures featured single snaps of Misha, and in the last picture, the little girl was seen striking a pose with her mom, Mira and the mother-daughter duo looked alike. Penning an adorable note for her daughter, the doting mommy wrote:
“I will spend my whole life loving you. Happy 8th Birthday our darling girl. Sunshine, sparkles and the best of everything for the light of our lives. Smile forever my baby girl, Misha.”
Mira Kapoor always managed to shield her kids, Misha and Zain, from the media glares despite being a part of a star family. After teasing the fans with glimpses of the little one’s tiny feet and blurred mirror selfies, Shahid Kapoor introduced his daughter, Misha Kapoor, to the world in 2016 by posting a black-and-white picture of her cuddled in mommy, Mira Rajput Kapoor’s arms. Since then, Misha has stolen our hearts with her cuteness.
In 2017, after her first pregnancy, Mira Rajput Kapoor attended a Women’s Day event and talked about the importance of women's empowerment and embracing motherhood. Talking about her pregnancy, she said:

"I had a tough pregnancy. I mean I went through those nine months of a difficult time to bring my daughter into this world. So, now I want to spend every moment that I can with her and I think that I am."
During an interaction with a leading daily, Shahid Kapoor shared a funny incident when he got nervous during his first-born Misha’s birth and was whacked by his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor. Revealing the same, Shahid said:
“When I was in the labour room, I was actually holding my breath like her. At one point, I felt a little dizzy and she kind of whacked me and said, 'Why are you getting dizzy? I'm doing all the work here’.”
