Mike Shinoda Confirms Linkin Park's First-Ever Concert In India In 2026, 'Can't Wait To Finally...'

The Lollapalooza Indian music festival has always made headlines for its amazing lineup of artists. For the unversed, Lollapalooza Indian music festival is a 2-day musical event, in which several local and international artists perform for the audience. This year, the excitement just doubled as the legendary American rock band, Linkin Park, has confirmed their performance in this event. 

Mike Shinoda confirms performance in Mumbai

Recently, a newsletter of the band, Linkin Park was sent to all fans, which gave them the best surprise they were looking for. In that newsletter, the co-founder of the band, Mike Shinoda confirmed that they will be performing in India as a part of their Zero World Tour. The dates mentioned coincided with the Lollapalooza India 2026, which sparked a wave of speculations that the band might perform at the musical event. In the note, Mike Shinoda had expressed his excitement and said:

"India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them."

Are the tickets available on the official site of Linkin Park?

Even though the tickets are no longer visible on the official site of Linkin Park's tour page, the much awaited tickets were visible for a brief amount of time. Later, they took it down. On the other hand, BookMyShow has not yet released the schedule or tickets of the musical event, Lollapalooza, which will be happening in Mumbai this year. The fact that fans can't see the ticket has sparked some debates, but Mike's message in the newsletter has kept them assured about their show. 

More about the band, Linkin Park

The band, Linkin Park started in California in the late 1990s. It is a group that includes talented musicians like Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Joe Hahn, Chester Bennington and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell. Initially, their band name was Xero. In 2000, they have released their first big single, which was One Step Closer. This song helped them launch their debut album, Hybrid Theory. The uniqueness of this album got them massive popularity and recognition. 

Over the years, they released several other albums like Meteora, Minutes to Midnight, A Thousand Suns and more. After the sudden and tragic death of Chester Bennington in 2017, the band paused for several years. Reportedly, in 2023-24, the members came together and introduced their latest tour, Zero World Tour. This tour marked the comeback of the band.
